That's not true, unless people are failing to report their cryptocurrency earnings and profits. In the US, you are obligated to report profits from trading cryptocurrencies as well as report as income any time you got paid for something in cryptos. The US government at this time is taking a wait and see attitude towards cryptocurrencies--they are studying it to determine how to best regulate it later on.

Every country are starting to ban. What if USA ban? how will it go?
If the USA banned Bitcoin it would certainly be bad for short term sentiment, but I don't think it would change anything long term. Fundamentals would still be present and you can be sure not all USA people would get rid of their Bitcoin despite it being illegal. It would be like living in the 1920s when they outlawed alcohol, oh what fun that seemed like! Roll Eyes

do not worry! there will be no ban! Now I see how the prohibitions go in China! Because of this, a large number of miners and developers are beginning to migrate to more favorable states! America if mad, it will prohibit bitcoin! But I think it will not happen!

that will never happen , why do you think the US is considered the world leader simply because they are open and forward thinking , who knows maybe satoshi nakamoto is the US ...nobody knows if its a person even though personally i feel its an organization and not anyone in particular but an organization.America would never risk getting left behind infact i think they pride themselves in being "first responders" , this technology is too revolutionary and ground breaking for anyone with half a brain to ignore.

In the United States, the Securities and Exchange Commission and some state governments have made moves to regulate the trading of cryptocurrencies. Former SEC Chairman Harvey Pitt told CNBC last month that the commission was likely to make major regulatory changes to cryptocurrencies in 2018.

I think that USA is just improving the block chain on other exchangers for faster transactions, there is no way for USA to ban bitcoins in their country because most of the icos today that are being launched are all in U.S. so it will be a huge problem for different companies and they will also comply.

To my opinion this is not going to happen.
Despite Trump and everything that is happening USA is still too liberal and open country so baning is not an option. Maybe some strict regulation in some states but further from that this will not go.
I think that no civilized and progressive country would ban Bitcoin.

we cannot easily expect that USA will ban completely bitcoin because it won't be hard to be done, but i think trying to regulate it maybe, governments everywhere, not only usa will try hard to regulate anything that they can get profits from, if any government will regulate bitcoin it will get taxes paid by everyone who own some or for every transaction made between two users, so why close a door that can bring a harvest someday, who knows.

Given the current situation in developed countries will not prohibit Bitcoin because their country has a prosperous economy and development, so they will not fear Bitcoin affect the economy of the country, besides in the developed countries Many people know about Bitcoin and the Crypto market so they will not ban, I think.

Nobody can tell you which countries will prohibit bitcoin, and what will happen if it is banned directly by the US. You can judge only the current situation, there are some great news, for example, that Germany takes bitcoin as a means of payment.

Not many countries have explicitly banned bitcoin. They are just waiting to see or rumor because they have no control over cryptocurrencies, so they are skeptical about bitcoin holdings.

The former director of the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Sheila Bair has doubled down on her stance in stating cryptocurrencies like bitcoin shouldn’t be outlawed. The former chairperson of the FDIC, a US federal government agency that provides insurance to bank deposits, has suggested regulation of activities surrounding cryptocurrencies instead of a blanket ban enforced by the likes of China on crypto markets. The high-profile former official said bitcoin is similar to US dollars in lacking an “intrinsic value”.

Although U.S. authorities arrested Jon E. Montroll, founder of BitFunder, a closed cryptocurrency exchange, accused him and his company of fraud. But this does not prevent people from buying bitcoins.

There is no chance for the USA to ban bitcoin because bitcoin is really performing well and there is no valid reason for them to ban it because they can just adopt it instead because with bitcoin, they can process payment faster than ever and they can get a chance to get into a very good investment which can give them big profits in the long run because of the potential of it.

The United States has no reason to ban bitcoin. Bitcoin will drive a new economy. And even if it is hard for the United States to completely ban Bitcoin, blockchain technology also makes us realize the importance of cryptocurrencies.
