Finding something new might do the trick for OP to quit gambling for real, but it depends on his mind setting. Let's say he already find something new, a new hobby, but after a week he felt incomplete, something is missing in his life, so he went back to his old routine and play gambling again, what is the point here? it is about if gambling became a habit of a person, it will be too hard for him to quit on it, maybe it will take some time if he could fight the urge on playing gambling again.

MOVE ON. Just accept the fact that you cannot recover your losses anymore and just move on. Yes, it may be hard to swallow the losses but that's one of the risks that you have to accept when gambling. We may realise big profits from gambling but we may also incur losses at the same time. Another thing, you should know that gambling creates this endless illusion of betting regardless of your winnings or losings. Lastly, you should know WHEN TO STOP gambling as this is the primary reason on why most individuals tend to be bankrupt.

The thing is that these people do not know the essence of moving on because they will EITHER go home with absolutely nothing OR with negative accounts due to debts. Hence, they SEEM to not have any choice but try to WIN again because it is the ONLY way they get to get their losses back, pay their debts, AND earn. These trio they cannot sacrifice thus they keep going no matter how the lights of gambling have dimmed for them.

Yes, it is almost impossible to get rid of gambling if you are used to it or you are addicted to it. Gambling gives a lot of people internal satisfaction and many people cant live without it. Even i have seen people take loans just to play gambling. A few of them are able to pay their loans back and most of them just ruin their life. I always say to play gambling with only the amount you can afford to lose.

Again! It's already like routine you will only lose because you are addicted in gambling. Gambling is very dangerous game you will not become millionaire as long as you will still gambling. Those who really addicted some of them already in a deep problem and some of them commits suicide because they lose everything. That's what gambling functions in every gamblers addicted.

Lol why he need to go to psychiatrist and all. First he must move to betting alone for some time and then he should to slot roll only for times. Then he can get the move to any investment option in the crypto platform like trading.
I think trading very much similar to the gambling so he can go with that for this instance.

it is very difficult to be able to leave the gambling, I also tried it and it is not useful. but I never meet one when I do not gamble for 3 days. and that's because I did not get an internet connection. so the conclusion that I can catch from kejadia it. we can leave the gambling if we do not have access to enter. so you should try not to use a laptop cell phone and other devices that can make us unable to access gambling. so try not to connect to the internet for 1-2 months

There is nobody that could help you leave gambling .

There are people who can help him leave gambling. Getting support from his friends, family and medical experts will suffice to help him get out but he needs to work on it and the initiative shall be shown coming from him.

Family and friends support is too much important for a person if he want to quit gambling, but i think your own will and struggle can also help you to stop gambling, You need to engage yourself in some other king of activities from where you can also get a good profit. Therefore you should start another type of business from where you can get a good profit.

Yes that is right that if you are in early stage then it is possible and one can easily stop gambling, but once if he has  become addicted and spend some more time in gambling then he will surely find it difficult to stop gambling. One can only quit gambling if he is new in gambling and still not addicted. I personally have seen so many addicted people in gambling who tried for so many times to stop gambling for for every time the failed and cannot stop playing gambling.

There are really lot of helpful advices here but the question is are you willing to take the risk?Because it's very useless if we keep on giving advices then you yourself is not really determined and focused to quit gambling.Start the change within yourself.Discipline yourself and get away from all forms of gambling.If you think you find it hard to do it all alone,then that's the time you seek for help from your family or any person whom you think can help you so much regarding on your problem.

If you have a hard time quitting gambling, I believe it is best if you see a specialist and try to consult your problem.  We all can say something here but I believe seeing a specialist will greatly help you to at least calm down your gambling addiction.  Aside from that, you should be very determined to stop, after all it is yourself that can play a major role on what you wanted to do with your gambling habit.

All this thing still ends on OP's decision.  No one can help you except yourself.  Decide to stop and be determined to do it.  If you are having a hard time consult an specialist to know what to do.  If OP have will to stop, he can stop anytime he wanted.  Only our own mind can command on things we can do or stop to do.  So you want to stop, decide to stop and stick your determination to it.

The worst thing what I feel is that when people borrow money from others for gambling. They have lost theirs and most likely chances is that they will lose this as well and it effects directly in relationship because now you will not be able to return their money back for some time till the time you earn money and pay back the debtors.
