Hello everyone!

It is tutorial time!
As we have posted a paper wallet guide before, we will post it here again, as we believe the most secure wallet is without any doubt a paper wallet.



TUTORIAL - Hodlwallet/paper wallet how to!

1. Do a complete malware scan on your computer - preferably where no wallet exits already.

2. Download ValutoPy BETA from link: http://downloads.valuto.io/ValutoPy_Beta_Setup.exe.

3. Install ValutoPy at C:/wallet/valutopy (as default.)

4. Open ValutoPy while being connected to the internet. (Only necesary if this is a unsynchronized/first run of ValutoPy.)

5. Close down ValutoPy Beta.

6. Start cmd.exe from Windows. (command prompt)

7. In the terminal (cmd.exe), type "cd C:/wallet/valutopy"

8. Type again "start /b valutod"

9. Type again "valutod getnewaddress" - Write down the input / VLU address.

10. Type again "valutod dumpprivkey <Address from step 9>"
NOTE: This is the 'private key'.

11. Write down the output from step 10 and guard this as it were your baby.

12. Delete the wallet.dat file from the Windows Appdata folder.
NOTE: If there are any other coins on this wallet, they will also be lost.

13. Transfer the desired amount to the address you wrote down in step 10.

14. When necessary, import the privatekey. Type again "valutod importprivkey <privatekey>

15. When finished, congratulate yourself. You have now made your own succesful paper wallet guide!

NOTE:
This howto explains advanced use of the Valutod software, and should only be followed by experienced users etc., as any mistake in this guide may result in a loss of funds.

 If it is near major support area then it is a good idea to buy in this are as it has a high chance of bouncing back from it. Always have a trading plan before entering and have the courage to cut loss if needed to do so.
