Quick question. Is it ok if we put an affiliates link in the url? I see a few people doing that.
not clearly sure about that man  Stunna please clarify before PD3 launches. This way we can maximize referrals. As Stunna wrote: "You may not advertise any other sites/threads. This includes non-paid for advertisements. You may include other non advertising related. Eg. a quote, your Bitcoin address etc. " I think this make you understand  that the best is to keep it clear thats what I understand - I might me wrong - correct me if so. I messaged Stunna to clear things up. I've sent him a message last month precisely about this issue and never got a response.  Alright, let's see what kind of response I get. If I don't get one then ill go ahead and add it anyways. You want to put the PD affiliate link in or a different one? You could put the other affiliate link in your personal text maybe if it's not allowed in your sig. I got a reply from Stunna. If you are participating in the sig campaign, then you may NOT put an affiliates link. He said you can't put a link to his own site? Our affiliate system is not currently active. When it is active you will be able to profit from users you refer.
However if you are in our advertising campaign on BitcoinTalk you will not be allowed to participate in both at the same time.

I'm more than happy and grateful for the payment we get, but obviously I'd like to maximise what I can earn, and I'm guessing so would you since you enquired about the links in the first place  . I don't think there's a big difference between having the ref link in your sig and it's probably better having them there than users spamming them in posts all over. |
