I might be the 100th person asking this Smiley
But has Primedice commented on ever reopening their signature campaign ?
Stunna said in primedice's main thread that he is getting tools developed and he wants to give signature campaign another shot.

He didn't say it 3months ago. He said this in the end of February. I know that he told almost the same thing 3months ago too but he repeated it in the end of Feb too. Soo there is still a hope that this campaign will start up again.

Yup, I'd be one of the people who was annoyed not to get paid to my own address.   However, as you said, the fact that I can make an account for free and withdrawal without fee (or verification procedures) certainly mitigates this.  Still, my feelings get a little wounded if I feel like someone is trying to manipulate me or take advantage of me (which is a feeling I get if they want to pay me in a way that feels like they're trying to get me to spend it right back to them).

I'm confused about the "withdrawal without fee" part. I'm aware that PrimeDice doesn't require verification procedures but isn't there a withdrawal fee? Granted, it's only there to cover the transaction fee as it's only 0.0001 BTC but it's still something that would otherwise normally be paid by the sig campaign operator.

I remember this too. Stunna said that there was an issue with the bot which counted deleted posts in rare circumstances. The sig campaign seemed to be almost ready for launch by then and tables showing how much each post in what category was worth were posted, but apparently there were a few more delays...

Here he said it on 1st March(now don't speak untill you know what's going on around the forum)
Stunna are you still launching a sig campaign? cause I saw ad slot on the forum itself I`m sensing no? the one I saw wasnt a smear campaign about Singapore though.

Yeh we definitely want to give the signature campaign another shot. Just waiting on a few tools to be finished getting developed.

He may have said something on 1 March and perhaps we will hear from him soon (I'm interested!).  However some of the others are merely pointing out that the old PD campaign closed down in 2014 and it was in Nov or Dec of 2014 when Stunna first said "ok, i'm thinking about reopening the campaign and here's how it will look ...".  Now we are nearing the ides of march.  Thus people are skeptical about if/when this will actually happen.  PD was once the king of sig-ad campaigns but those days are fading fast into memory.

If he has said that it is going to happen then it is going to happen. You don't need to worry about it. He does things late but finally he completes them in style.

Sure, but for people who are interested in selling their signature space, this isn't a question of worry it's a question of what's available and when.  I'm (of course) still keeping an eye on this thread and while I don't know if I'd switch from my current deal (it would depend on the details, of course) I'm certainly trying to keep abreast of developments.

It seems that now it is not a good time for start again this signature campaign, maybe it will be better to not "reopen" it anymore. The fault is that a lot of users have been banned in these days, due to their spammy posts and I think the all signature campaigns are dying slowly.

You may be right about banning spammy users (this is a good thing, IMO).  However, I don't think that signature ad campaigns will disappear forever.  As long as folks are opening new btc related ventures there are going to be people looking for ways to advertize those ventures.  From what I can tell, signature advertising has been really useful for businesses to get their names out there.

You may also be right that Primedice doesn't have a lot to gain at the moment from a new campaign as they already are well known and have huge amount of the dice market share (as far as I can tell).  I would think that signature advertising is going to be especially useful for startups and new companies that are trying to get folks to try them out.  For PD, they've got a quality product that's already known so they may not really need this as much as a new kid on the block.

I think that conditions and rates will continue to change in response to a number of variables but I don't think that signature ad campaigns are going away anytime soon---they've just been proven to be too useful for advertizers.

You are right, the signature campaigns are valid only for the site itself but not for the forum due the enormous quantity of spammers and "insubstantial" users.

I want to ask you. Have you seen some other 'big' internet forums? Like really big ones? I am not counting reddit because of its structure but it is a good example as well. Every time I checked every other forum than bitcointalk in the past there was a spam, and plenty of it everywhere. You think that signature campaign are creating more spam? I do not think so. People are willing to post idiotic and useless posts on other forums without being paid for it.
It is just human nature and you can't win against spam no matter what.

I said it before and will say it again, patience is a virtue. With people whens this whens that all the time it will never happen, or even if it does take longer.

So PLEASE, just stop bitching / asking about it and just have some damn patience and join another program in the meantime.

To be decided...

You're right in saying that most people here probably already know of Primedice although I'm sure there are some who might know of it but wouldn't join unless the forum was literally plastered all over with PD sigs again (I know I was one of those people). I wonder if some type of mini signature program could be created for the beginners & help board since that is where the newbies tend to frequent. It could act as a prelude to the full reopening of the campaign as well as a testing ground for Stunna's fancy new sig bot.
