I guess it's hard to predict 5 years in a young market, but I'd say the ones going to last the most are: BTC, ETH, NEO, NEO, LTC. Also, exchanges coins like Binance and KuCoin, as they'll last as long as there's trading and volume.

Monero, Dash, Bitcoin, Ripple (only because of bankers), Ethereum (only bagholders) and maybe Bitcoin cash if there are enough people that think it's still available option. It's only going to get worse and worse though. Other than that, I guess Litecoin will be around. It's an oldie and nothing is wrong with it. Other than that we're going to see some major shifts. The shitcoins that jump to top 20 then are gone in a few months will never be seen again for the most part. It's happened many times over the years.

It's coin shilling time!
I suspect there will be alot of coins that aren't currently in the top 10 that are dominant in the next 5 years. Just looks at what was dominant in 2013 - how many of those do you recognise:

So best bet is to go for platform/ infrastructure coins that have good real work applicability and industry support. it's just like the dot com period.

An excellent question, at ETH's point the price was $ 0.31 today is around $ 860.

Bitcoins would be the best one for all the time whether you are asking for 100 years later too. back to bitcoins I list the Ethereum and litecoin in the 2nd and 3rd position. Other than these coins we cannot assure any coins will live for long time.

I see some people listed all the top 10 coins after 5 years but fact is. That will not become true at all. We will not assure that project will live that time or in the same place until 2023.
