Every weekend we see same thing, Friday and Saturday rise, then starting from Saturday night fall again. I realized this but I still don't touch my coins. If they make reverse move even one time I could lose my coins. I prefer to hold at this situation.

Any idea why this fluxiation? Somebody should write a PHD about the psychology of the average crypto trader, maybe they would find the answear  Smiley

There are some speculations but as you can see they are speculations. Never move with rumours.
Some say it's because in weekends there is no banking action so people in crypto don't sell their coins after Friday night.

Thank you for all of your opinion. I would take advantage of the current dip if only I have cash with me but all I have are various tokens in my wallet that have dumped badly in price. And I am still a student so I don't have much. So I chose to hold my coins hoping that its price will be normal. From this, I will get the money I will be investing in other coins. Hoping things will get better in crypto world!

Coins are dumping again. I know that we won't really know when will things go back to normal. I am still holding my coins and hoping that it will recover after this awful dip. I just want to know who else here are holding? Do any of you got tired of waiting and did a panic sell? I know some people who sold their coins at a lower price before. I held into my principles and kept waiting but it seems like things aren't going smooth. Any thoughts about this? Please respect my post. Thanks!

Do not worry, mate. Everything's gonna be fine in a few days from now. We are having some bloody charts today but if you notice, the dip is almost over. Bitcoin has already got back beyond $8,000. In fact it has already climbed to $8,300 ++. This day might even end up with Bitcoin crossing back to $9,000. I am a hodler myself and I am sure that the community of Bitcoin hodlers here is quite big.

no one is happy with the situation as it is today. I think you should be better able to hold back and try to find out a lot of information as to why this is still happening. I think this is work for me, you and all of us.

Red is a good possibility to buy) Always buy in dip!

that is not true all the time about everything. it is only true about some things that will go up eventually not those that used to be high and now are dropping.

and right now the altcoins you see dropping hardest are those which you must stay away from because these are the biggest bubbles that are bursting. buying of these coins should only happen in case there is a pump which is not going to be for months.

Keep calm, trade if you want to but otherwise hold. Don't panic sell.
We are still in the dip that has been going on for about a month. The green and then red over the last couple of days don't mean much, they are an inconsequential part of the larger picture.
When are we coming out of it? The big test for me is whether the market drops below $300 billion again. If we stay above that and establish some stability, then the stage is set for another bull market. It may be some way off, or it may not. Just don't let normal daily price fluctuations affect your judgement.

Only a small relative decrease. Do not worry and do not tease others. This is not worth paying attention to.
The above is true: the market is growing in waves.
That's right and we actually accept these repetitive scenarios since crypto are more volatile than of before. Its not a way we worried so much because from the start it always be like this , ups and downs are very usual thing in crypto market.

Same here trying to hold weeks and quite tired and I'm just  decide to sell it even i should take a capital loss and trying to buy again in lower price than i sell. Wish it will rise again and could cover my loss. I do panic but i don't directly sell my coin I'm still waiting to see the market and then still sell it in lower price than i buy before but trying to not dip loss.

The cryptoworld are left bleeding when people are selling/panic selling their cryptocurrencies. They're making contribution for the bloodbath of almost every cryptocurrencies. But i think RED days are already over since GREEN days took over when bitcoin started to rise.

Crypto currency is very volatile in nature. She can not stay in one place for a long time in her price. This fall was very long in time and therefore this period of low prices should soon end. The maximum period of a good rise of the crypto currency will begin in early March, when the New Year holidays in China, that is, on February 16, will end. Therefore now it is necessary either to trade on the exchange in short-term auctions, or, in the absence of proper experience, simply to keep their coins until they start to grow decently in value. However, clearly selling now a low price, it will be at a loss.

I also do that. I also hold all my altcoin. I believe prices will rise again in the next few months. I will continue to hold it until my specified price standard is reached.

Yes of course, this has to be expected. And it is almost valentine's day. We know that people need money for the event. Some people especially a couple will go somewhere like paris, rome, etc to have a romantic date. Many will take the money from their cryptocurrency investment and the result is very clear. It's what you had put in the subject of this thread. Back at RED.

Nothing we can do about it. If it dumps, it dumps. Take a break from trading and relax. You can still scalp the market if you want because there are still small pumps here and there. Or just hold, that can be a good thing to do as well.

I also hold like you, just waiting for the market to stabilize. I need, of course, dollars, but now is not the right time. Let's wait for the green market.
Although if I would have sold half at the beginning of the fall of the market, I would have already bought back more.
