Somewhere in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 I created some accounts here for back linking my client sites. There are 60-500 posts per account.  For now I would like to sell these individually or a few per transaction. We can use escrow if you don't like to go first. Post here if you are interested.

Having an older account in no way impacts your "trust" level on the forum, that's a completely seperate system.

New accounts could be easily detected as alts but old accounts is more immune. This accounts is good for promoting services, products, alt coins, for giveaways,  for bumping your threads, for voting and many other that could stimulate your business. And a couple of alts is also good to fight back trolls.

If you are intending on using these for giveaways, these account have all been used on the Ripple giveaway thread. For now I would like to sell these individually or a few per transaction. If you seem like a reputable user I will go first, if not I'd like you to or we can use escrow. Post here if you are interested.

Yeah man this is some fuck upped shit going on here.
Are Admins not looking at this subforum or what?

It is sick and nothing better than that to in the first place sell these damn things, and the second placeto buy them.

OP obviously knows that 99/100 of the accounts he will never sell will be used to scam people and this is to be taken seriously...

Are there many instances where a scammer has paid $10-$100 for an old account, made posts, gained reputation, then scammed someone?

Made posts and rep? Nah. It's always just buying accounts and using them straight away, like the good ole' legitnick case:

(yes, the real legitnick did sell his account, he didn't personally partake in the scams)

I got offered 1BTC for my account way back (few months ago). Obviously I didn't sell, I was just wondering how much accounts are worth. I believe the user who offered me this has now become inactive/banned. I believe they also was using others account for scamming purposes.

He was offering all hero members 1BTC, which back then I was only recently the system changed. I believe he was offering all accounts above newbie for something like 0.2. But, I can't remember. I wouldn't advise you to sell your account.

If someone offered me 0.5 let alone 1 , I would sell it without a second tought Cheesy I would pay my debt and still come out on top with 0.2 bitcoins Cheesy Which would be enough for me to buy a dozen books from amazon that I want.

So if it is allowed should I just open an topic that states I am selling my account?

Considering nearly all purchasers are scammers and now your account is noted as a possible scam account due to you wanting to sell it in public? Nah.
