Somewhere in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 I created some accounts here for back linking my client sites. There are 60-500 posts per account.  For now I would like to sell these individually or a few per transaction. We can use escrow if you don't like to go first. Post here if you are interested.

FAQ

1. Why you sell this accounts?
Answer. I never thought this accounts has value until I saw someone selling them here. This accounts has no use to me.

2. Why we buy an account if we can make for free?
Answer. It's true, you can easily create an account, but the older the accounts the more trust it has. You don't have to send first thus preventing someone scamming you.

3. Can we use this accounts to scam?
Answer. Absolutely no, I'm against any form of scam.

4. Is it allowed to buy accounts and own multiple accounts on bitcointalk.org?
Answer. Yes as answered by SaltySpitoon, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303414.msg3269475#msg3269475

5. What is your assurance that account will not be taken back?
Answer. Most of my accounts is posted and developed by team for many months. I can assure you that this accounts would not be taken back. I'm selling here for almost a year and sold more than a hundred accounts. What is the purpose of taking back an account? That account would only get a negative feedback and cannot be sold again and I would also lose my reputation in return.

I made a new account because I could not change my nickname, its no big deal to start again.. Buying usernames seems stupid.. and a scammer could buy one of those 2010's can con people out of coins.

Hopefully everybody reads all posts before sending something to a stranger. Joining date 2010, few post a year, seems legit

Obsolutely nothing.
If they had more posts, and 100 - 600 activities they would be worth the price.

But with only 5 posts, they will have 5 activity. It means that you will have to wait 6 minutes before each posts.
It also means that it does not matter if that was made in 2012 or not ...

But old accounts, with posts, are heroes member, supposed to be "trustworthy". But those accounts, won't have more activites than any new accounts made today, considering that they were inactive for years.

Can someone explain to my why these accounts have actual value?

You can buy some 10-20 accounts and keep pumping up some service you are building. Since these are older accounts, it could give more "trust" to the service, thus more people would visit it. If you got my point, it is more likely that this service has another name (which is getting very common around here). This is the only reason I see for buying these accounts.

New accounts could be easily detected as alts but old accounts is more immune. This accounts is good for promoting services, products, alt coins, for giveaways,  for bumping your threads, for voting and many other that could stimulate your business. And a couple of alts is also good to depend yourself from trolls.

If your account is registered in 2011 made 1 post during that year. And login today and create 500 posts. Your account will become a hero member in one day. But your account is created july 2013 no matter how much posts you made your activity will stay very low. Thats the difference with old account.

You clearly have no idea how activity works lol.
Just a small search:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.0

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every 30 minutes.

If your account is registered in 2011 and made 1 post during that year, and today login and create 500 posts (which will take 500x6 = 3 000 min = 125 hours = almost 18 days Roll Eyes but whatever) then:
posts = 501.
time = 2.
activity = min ( 2 x 14 ; 501 ) = 28.

Your activity will be 28. Same as a 2 weeks old account with 28 posts.
Inactive period does not count for activity.

Most people will look at the activity and will find out that it was dormant for 3 years... I'm pretty sure they can deduct that it's a scammer...
