I would like to know good strategies to multiply investments on Alternete Crypo and using ICO investments as well?

If you invest on Ico like 1 ETH. And the ICO is 40% off at presale. You got that ETH stucked for 3 months to ICO go LIVE.
The ETH GOT up lets says 60% percent in that 3 months, Do I lost 20% on that?

Another case:

I do an ICO investment 1 ETH. The opposite occur ETH goes down in 30% in 3 months. So I made a lot of money on ICO?

that is what happens if we invest in ico, in fact there is no issue of eth price up or down. but our assets are stuck until they are done ico and finished the distribution, then we receive the coins.
maybe we will lose in time, but we will get bonuses and bonuses we can sell first to return the capital. the rest of the coins we can make a long-term investment.

In my own knowledge and experience no matter on where prices of ETH would go the received token would be just still the same on the time you have sent your eth to invest. Some ICO might consider such changes on prices but I do only see seldom project that do offer this feature when it comes on price changes but most of the time I do only see on having fix tokens receive according on the amount you have sent on that particular time.

Just a suggestion.

Try to follow more than one ICO.
for example, you have 1 ETH.
1 ETH is divided for 10 ICO. so your capital on every ICO is 0.1 ETH. Do not invest on one ICO only.

If you feel not comfortable to invest in ico because of time, then just stop it.
Because if you lose time and again lose in ico, i am sure you will be more stress. So i think you are more comfortable with day trade or long term for exist altcoin which already in the market.
