Thanks for reporting it. I'm not surprised at all, there are plenty of fake news lately to create FUD. One more reason to hodl.

Hopefully this true, it is so hard to decipher what is truth and what is not in this world because there are very few official announcements from governments about their intentions and everything else is just speculation.

I'm sure that so much of the difficulty is just things being lost in translation and such, most of us do not speak Chinese so cannot get news directly from source. Also I wouldn't be surprised if Chinese news outlets aren't the most reputable in the world.

I really don't believed anything that's coming from China now. They are all fake and unverified reports. And there's another news that PBoC is already sending emails to media outlets about the banning but they quickly says that they didn't do that as well.  Smiley

That's why I urge everyone not to take any news from them seriously. It looks like they are just trying to downplay what bitcoin has been established. We have somewhat recovered, but FUD like this will really take a impact to the ecosystem. Investors now is at the edge and a simple news will make then decided to sell off everything.

If this is indeed true why hasn’t the Chinese government come out and deny all these reports in the first place, there is no smoke without fire and their silence regarding the matter shows that there was no hack and the Chinese government have indeed banned Bitcoins.

these days unless you're the freaking chinese president himself, it's impossible to know what's true and what isn't. why wouldn't this site be a double or triple fudder?

and even if something is true in principle, people in crypto are inclined to twist everything they can get their hands on to further their own aims. when you throw in the translation angle, or failure of it, then it's a miracle anyone can operate on any of the information out there.

This is true, we need Bitcoin to not only be dominated by one country.
