I agree to used bitcoin as a donation for some reasons.
1. People who give great help to the church are becoming increasingly anonymous.
2. It is easier to monitor the entire proceeds and avoid suspicion of having a claim.
3. The transaction is faster and less expensive
This is just my opinion.

That's an interesting idea. Where I live, churches are starting to implement POS terminals at exits because fewer and fewer people do physical currency.

This is a great first of all is the convenience for the church ad their followers. Also, bitcoin has an unstable value, but has a high conversion price so having bitcoin at its peak price, they could use it to provide the needs in the church.

I think it's a very good idea, it means we not only use the money from bitcoin to have fun but rather set aside for donations of places of worship such as churches and other places of worship, in order to materialize the idea we should start it by inviting bitcoin holders to participate in donations for their respective places of worship, without coercion and for those who want it, that's my opinion.

As we are already considering bitcoin to be a currency it is not a far off idea to put bitcon into good use such as donations for these kind of advocacies and needs. We have been gifting cryptocurrency for a long time now so we can also put bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as extension to put it in a way where we can donate our coins for a greater cause anonymously

I think we can donate in any form, if it is comfortable to someone to donate with crypto, so why not. But I am not sure how comfortable it is for church to take donations in this way?

Let me know where your data is for the first claim here. Cause I doubt people that are donating to the church actually care about if anyone knows. I do think the 2nd one is cool in the fact that it could bring more transparency to the church, so people knew where all of the money they were donating would be ending up. For #3 that's just not true, Bitcoin is without a doubt going to be more expensive then simply donating money to the church in cash. So you're just wrong.

But we need Churches that accept donations in BTC for that. Aso, I think many people donate to local churches and thus all will have to implement for this to be successful.

What a great idea, but also the church should have use BTC or should have known BTC atleast. But here in my country churches are afraid to step up into the modernization period because they preserve the history of the church.

But the poundage is very expensive, and I don't think it's suitable. It is still not very good to see bitcoin as a physical payment, and I hope the lightning network will solve the problem of congestion in the bitcoin block, so all of this is possible.

This is a good idea in my own opinion. As we all know all of the establishments nowadays used computer and internet so churches only need to open a btc wallet for donation purposes but it should be legit and must be accounted with the churches monthly receivables. Transparency must be practice in this case.

It's a good idea to give bitcoin as donations to church, actually this has been practiced in Switzerland. ICF Zurich is one of the largest churches in Switzerland. It tends to promotes new technologies since most of the members are young and tech savvy. It's accepting bitcoin as offering despite of the fears of being a bubble coin.

yes...of course why not if we have a lot bitcoin and we can sell it in a right price to change it in our money then we can donate some of it in our church.but if you earn more then the better you can donate .

This is an interesting idea and a very acceptable one. I know some people who donate handsomely to their church and they opt to be discrete regarding this matter. They don't want to be exposed to the community even though they are doing some noble things. And with the use of BTC or any other cryptocurrency, they can do this easily anytime anywhere. Blockchain technology will provide us different solutions to the different problems plaguing our community. We just have to be very observant regarding those problems and apply the blockchain technology to solve it.

Hi,
Indeed, bitcoin can be used to make donations... But I have a few questions in mind...
1- Why giving to church? Why do you chose this, instead of any other charity? Helping the poor, feeding homeless, saving nature? These are just a few example, there are lots of charities, I just wonder why you chose one that is already quite powerful..
2- Why do you want to be anonymous? I understand when you use bitcoin (thus are anonymous) when dealing with businesses and more or less legal transactions, but for a donation?
