World investors will start invest once there will be good possibilities for doing such investments. They need to be garanted and regulated, most of them still avoid cryptocurrency due to every month hacks, scam icos and other cruel news. And collapse of stock markets willn't change anything.

i think is a two way thing, crypto need to be less risky if this has got to happen
Less volatile, I agree, but I really don't think crypto is going to be the go-to asset when (not if) the stock market crashes.

I don't think a lot of folks here realize what a stock is, and why it's fundamentally different from bitcoin and how investors want stability in the event of a market crash, not something that has a history of dropping 60% or more in a single month.

Crypto is in the currency category, whereas when you own a stock you own a share in a business's future profits.  Stocks can provide good passive income, and there isn't yet a coin that can do that, proof-of-stake ones aside.

Another point is that there isn't a correlation between stocks and bitcoin that I know of, and there probably won't be one when stocks tank.  That could change, of course.

Impossible to predict.  During the stock market crash of 2000, seems like real estate was the go to.  And for the 2008 crash, bonds and gold.  There are more established "safe havens".

And maybe it is not a good thing to be the safe haven because both RE and gold crashed shortly after.

But i do think the next crash will make more people take look at cryptos.

The collapse of stock markets will force world investors to invest in the crypto-market?
What do you think?

It could possible lead to that, but I doubt. I think they will still keep their invstments in stocks while experimenting with crypto.
And only after they see how much money they can make with it, only after that they will go all in.
Because of greed of course.

Cryptocurrencies are less than 2% of the total marketcap of gold, that is why these markets has less volatility compare to cryptocurrencies. You will need to spent hundreds of billions for you to manipulate 1% of the stockmarket, that is why it is very hard to manipulate stocks compare to cryptocurrencies. But this is still possible when superpower countries will have som recession or some worldwar will happen, the safest place would be to put their money into bitcoin's or cryptocurrency market.

Wow i dont really see this coming, great logic you have, you are right people with some much money will put it to cryptocurrencies when they know what will come, single recession or a war between super power countries will trigger these people to put their hard earned money into safe place which incase bitcoin's indestructible but how will bitcoin's be used without internet?  Roll Eyes

It is not certainly in that way. In stock markets, everything is customary, certain expectations are working. You can make realistic forecasts. The market of cryptocurrency is absolutely chaotic. Look at the diametrically opposite forecasts from different people who have a lot of experience in this. Major investors first need guarantees and some insurance against big bounces.

What do you think?

I think that in this case people will actively use crypto-currencies. But in my opinion this is impossible due to the fact that many prefer a more stable investment of money, and the crypto currency is too volatile.
