Hi everyone i have just bought 3 new rigs each one contains:

psu: siverstone strider 1500w
mb: z77a-gd65
gpu: 4x power color 7950's
4x 1x to 16x powered riser cables
ram: 2x 4gb ddr3
hdd: 500gb
os: windows 7

i have installed windows 7 and the 12.8 and 2.7 drivers because everywhere i go people say they are the best suited to mining.

i have installed guiminer scrypt because it works on my other three rigs and because i've tried to use cgminer but i'm not the best with computers.

the problem that occurs is i get one card hashing away at 550kh|s but as soon as i turned another card on the first card drops down to 300ish and the 2nd card sits on 200ish it gets worse the more cards i add?

anyone have any fixes for me any help would be much appreciated

if i am reading it right you dont have no x16 slots. why are you running 1x slots for all video cards?

it is an option to add more cards but the best is to use your x16 slots first.

also what guid are you using?

possibility
Now you say you got guiminer working? cgminer would be better and its really easy to use.

http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer
cgminer-3.4.2-windows.zip
open up cgminer.exe then it will ask you for your pools stratum or gatework url. pefered use the stratum url with port number ex: myguild.com:3333
then it will ask you for your username and then pass. ex: myworker.1   password: 1

then you will be all set to go. once you get that up you can see the temps you are getting and other info.

i could possibility set it up for you. You could run Teamviewer and PM me your id number and password it gives you.

that is if you make a bat file correct.

Make sure that your windows firewall is not blocking teamviewer.

Moving this to alternate crypto currency because it's about scrypt mining.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
