Mixing 570/580 issues - 50$ Reward for solution (ETH/BTC)

Hi there

I have different models of RX on my rig: RX570 4GB/8GB and some RX580 4GB/8GB of different brand.
All the card are flashed and all off them have been tested individually. (It's a rig of 6 gpu)

When I plug the first GPU, I have to use the AMD Patcher because it shows a warning in the device manager and it's not recognized by the drivers.
I have to do that every-time I add a gpu.
Everytime I add a gpu, all the 570 get back to "warning state" in the device manager.
I'm pluging one gpu, installing the drivers, rebooting, adding one, etc...
The best I've been able to do is 5GPU, sometimes 4 MAX, etc...

Motherboard is Asus-Prime Z270-a and i'm running w10.
I have another rig running with 3 different model of gpus (Total of 6 gpus) and it's working fine without issues.

change this settings in the motherboard


Launch CSM [Enabled]
Above 4G Decoding [Enabled]
PCIEX16_1 Link Speed [Gen1]
PCIe Speed [Gen1]

plug all gpus together and use AMD/ATI Pixel Clock Patcher

I agree with the above. In mobo BIOS...use Gen 2 wherever possible. (never used Gen 1 before) then plug in all your GPUs at once and use the pixel patcher. When you first power up let the PC flicker and try to figure itself out for 5-10 minutes, then run pixel patcher and restart.

change settings in bios to 4g enabled, and change there spots that have gen setting to gen 2. there is like 4 places in the bios where you need to change it. Even after doing all of this you may still have to use pixel patcher, I do when I add new cards, I think it has to do with combining 570 and 580 cards together on same rig, because when its just one type of card everything is fine.

How about your PSU wattage? Is it enough for powering all of GPUs and system? Besides setting up your systems, don't forget with any physical thing such as PSU wattage, cable, riser etc.
