Not accurate. I had a problem with hbn payout yesterday so eventually I went on IRC last night and asked about it. Nearmiss looked into it immediately and resolved the issue, so I got my payout. They do a bunch of work between like 11pm - midnight EST so that is a great time to pop on IRC if you are having a problem.

as far as I know it's scrypt not sha256 but who knows, maybe they have an option to use sha256; check on the site under the FAQ and getting started sections (hashco.ws)

nearmiss,
your pool lacks basics that give me confidence to use it.
- where is the history of transactions? - why is pool estimated hash rate so grossly under what is actually pointed at it (half)? - why is support email completely ignored?
Yes, many people mine here on faith, and when they report issues they get them resolved. But without even basic metrics, how am I supposed to know that there is a problem? Whenever I have mined here, off and on, the payouts have been extraordinarily small (0.0015 - 0.0030 BTC/MH/day).
Faith would be nice but if I'm pointing hash power at this pool, I expect results.

I do agree that some of those features would be a nice addition but not every pool is the same. I don't know how you got such low numbers, I have never results that bad on this pool, not even close really. Best place to get quick help with any issues is the IRC channel.

Just checking in with a reminder to read the most recent 15-30 pages of this thread before asking any questions, raising any concerns, causing any FUD, etc. Most of the answers are already here. Happy mining.

I've been using hashcows to mine MINT for a few weeks now, I see pool picker is showing it as one of the most profitable pools out there.. Is that with BTC or an alt-coin? If so, it would be nice to know what's the most profitable alt-coin on Hashcows.

If so, it would be nice to know what's the most profitable alt-coin on Hashcows. Poolpicker deals with btc only. In the plans is a page that will break down per payout-coin, current Mh/s and total btc-earned, so communities can see how well the adoption is.

I have mined for 16h on this pool with 2.6mhash, my confirmed btc is 0.0003btc and my current balance is 0.00007btc. Seems like something is wrong as the payout is usually somewhere around 0,004-0,009btc/mhash?
Usually when I mine I get around 0,015btc with 2.6mhash, but this is first time I try out hashcows.
