I don't think bitcoin can go deeper as $4000, maybe it will stabilize in this value for quite sometime and will recover somewhere in the 2nd quarter of this year. I think after tHe Chinese New Year bitcoin value will start to recover. Let's all be positive for bitcoin because the negative we think about it can affects the decision of some who wants to invest in bitcoin.

OP, That's assuming that we're going to see the trend continue. In which case you can probably assume that bitcoin would have went to over $1 million in a few years time, and when the crash happened, bitcoin would go back to $1 within a few years time as well.

The thing is that these trends do not sustain, pumps and dumps happen all the time and it's inaccurate to try to predict future gains/losses solely from past performance.

I think that we've currently already found a pretty nice floor at $8k, and with that support we can definitely go test the $10k level. I doubt that we'll see $4k at all this year, although it is possible if the markets start panicking once again.

Right now, I am very optimistic that the market is ready for a rally and all we need is just the volume. The signals are popping up each day to the positive and even though the market looks a little bit bumpy right now, no one can tell exactly what can happen next, so the OP coming with his chart and assuming that to be an analysis to create FUD is messed up. I don't think that it will continue to go down. This month of February, bitcoin's value will range from $8k-10K. It is more stable now and ready yet for another bull run except of course if there will be more negative news from media that could drag it's price down.

There is still a chance but as of the moment Bitcoin is looking Bullish as it is on the support levels between 9,200$ and 9,400$ a break with this will surely mean that it will go back up above 10,000$ which is a pleasant thing to see. But if it fails to break the 10,000$ price point then we might go back below 7,000$ and might re-test 6,000$. But I don't think it will reach 4,000$ as Bitcoin is heavily bought when it was around 5,900$.
