I hope not, because if google ban ICO, it will adversely affect the market (I think).

What do you think? Will google ban ICO marketing?
I don't think so that google will also ban ico marketing. If this will also happen then there will be no more credibility to ICO's and this will have a good effect to those who are planning to create their own ICO. I know that google has a lot of ads but this will also reduce their charts(sales).
How will that effect investers to you opinion?
Not that really will affect the investors but the ICO advertisers are the ones to be directly affected but there are still a lot of way to promote their ads.

Maybe , over time, advertising requirements for cryptocurrency on such sites will be limited, at least until the market of cryptocurrency is legalized.

indeed facebook and twitter has been block any ad about cryptocurrency and bitcoin. but free account users provide the information they want as long as it does not violate share rules rules on facebook and twitter. but for google I think it's too general and it will definitely reap a lot of protests if google prohibits advertising something about crypto.

There is a less chance that google would make some stupid regulations like banning ICOs,google isnt a social media likd other.Probaby it will only affect people who is participating these ICOs especially when they are at the U.S  most of these potential investors are going stop their investment but google is morelikely more open than any of these social media websites so there isa less chance for ban in cryptocurrency and ICO related topics.

I think no, can't say exactly but I've advertised on both the platforms earlier. Facebook is very strict in banning ads, Many of my CPA marketing ads were removed firm there though it wasn't any black hat products. But Google Adsense and Bing on the other hand accepts the ads or atleast they are keeping it inline Facebook.

Currently, the addition of Bitcoin should follow a trend that is easily tracked by the response of Google users in the discussion on Reddit. Of course, at the height of popularity, Google's crypto might get a solid +1 to its image. The future of cryptocurrency is not clear, but in Google they prefer to know to what future they are going and are cautious.

If the google don't want the money from the scam crypto currency projects then they may ban it but I don't think it will happen.

But I don't think the google or the facebook advertisement is very important for the ICO project because these ads may not the primary source so even if they ban it it will not affect the ICO projects.

I don't think so, because the advertising of the ICO project is actually quite high in Google.
We can still receive other fraudulent ads from Google, so I don't think Google will ban the ICO ads. Grin

To this day, half the advertisements i see on Facebook is still ICO's.
So not sure this ban is very effective or if it is just some BS by Facebook.
At least I see the same amount of ICO advertisements as I did before the "ban"

It seems to me that Google is a company that has no political considerations on this matter. Although of course everything can be, because as far as I remember they had some problems with the Crimean peninsula

It will be harder for ICOs to reachout new investors in crypto because of these marketing ban. But why should they worry about it when there are tons of investors here in the forum and still these campaign can be set up manually by liking and sharing post on facebook. As long as the team can create a facebook page and update followers, they can still reach out people interested in crypto.

I hope not Google is smarter than Bitcoin I don't think they will ban that because there are a lot of adsense publishers that are cryptorelated so a big percentage of their advertisers will lose profit and will shift to another advertising company Google is more bigger than facebook in my opinion.

this very bad decision will ruin the reputation of Facebook. people themselves decide what to publish and read, if it does not contradict the law and morals

Perhaps Google also stop advertising ICO. But for me it does not matter, because I learn about new projects on this forum. I think Facebook and Google will simply lose money from the ban on advertising.

Actually facebook is still advertising ICOs and cryptocurrencies. I believe they have a screening process befor ethey put crypto ads in their website. They are regulating to avoid scams and other fraud on crytocurrencies. In terms of google, they will not ban ads for cryptos because they are also earning from it.

i think google supports crypto because they even made metamask. im guessing they have been planning many things from behind. blockchain has many opportunities and many wide possibilities to improve. im not sure in facebooks but hearing that they ban marketing related to crypto, Im guessing they aren't benefiting from it.
