I also couldn't find data older than October 5th 2009, furthermore, the oldest data appears to be derived from production costs (according to a post by the publisher of this data himself, NewLibertyStandard) as opposed to pre-existing price, which leads me to the conclusion that this probably is the first time a price existed.
Mike Hearn confirmed in an interview at Bitcoin 2013 that indeed during the early times, as I suspected, Bitcoin had no price.
