Author Topic: how do I get cgminer to recognise all four of my cards  (Read 4484 times)

hey guys I just bought a new rig its got 4 Radeon 7950's in it but cgminer will only pick up 2 im using dummy plugs and still nothing any ideas why this is and any suggestions on how to fix it?

Did you setup the OS with one GPU and add the 3 later? or did you have all 4 GPUs plugged into the motherboard and install the OS?

For me I used to setup the rig with one card, then move it to my mining shelf and hook up the other 3 GPUs.  I used to have your problem all the time.  Sometimes I'd get 4 cards, sometimes 3, sometimes 2.

Now I just hook them all 4 GPUs from the beginning and install the OS.  Never had a missing GPU in device manager this way.
