上周市场动荡之际，其中一个最大赢家就是买进与Cboe波动率指数连结价外期权的投资人，每份合约价格为50美分左右。

这位外号“50 Cent”的交易员自2017年初以来展开的这笔交易总共大赚近2亿美元，得益于单月4亿美元的波动。他通常购买VIX期权的价格缩水了，不愿意以50美分的价格买进VIX期权。他常常在此价位买进，因此人称50Cent，“但到了2月初，运气看似不能再差时，得救了。”
