I haven't seen this thread until now, but I'm so excited I was able to contribute .1 BTC to this effort. I don't usually make my donations public, but skimming through this thread really brightened my day. I first heard about it on Twitter; BTCquick tweeted, and I retweeted. My twitter account exists only to check on the status of my coins, but I certainly hope my retweet helped in spreading the word. I'll update this post with the transaction ID from one of my archived addresses; would hate to be accused of lying. This is a much better side of the bitcoin community. Thank you SeansOutpost for setting a good example

Just came across this after a conversation with Phinn. Awesome thing you guys are doing and I am shocked that $1.25 stretches that far, amazing.
I sent some meals your way. Have a great New Years.

Wow I've been looking for a good place to donate some BTC to. Where do the meals get passed out? and we have seen enough (press, photos, etc.) from OP to know this is legit? thanks and good luck going forward, I'll donate if it seems legit, I have to finish reading thread and hopefully get some responses.

I want to start this in Tampa Bay Florida, we have tons of families in need, does anyone have any ideas as far as making a website to get donations and post ledgers and so forth. I'm a student who does not work and would be basically funded by donations. I'm thinking about trying a 6 months food drive, perhaps the site can go nationwide and actually help more than one area. If anyone is interested please let me know!
Get in touch with Jason King here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=102381He'll direct you anyway possible. Hey there! Its been awhile but I got the money together to file for the non-profit, plus the families lawyer to assist in starting a non profit based out of Tampa Bay Florida, I want to work in collaboration with the current charity, since that is what inspired me to help those around me. Currently I'm a tax law student that cannot work due to litigation and medical reasons as a result of serious injuries sustained in 2010! Worst case scenario is that this will be the best resume builder, and something that show that BTC is VERY useful for ALL off mankind! I'm a dual citizen out of Europe (part of the EU Union etc) and have family residing there as well. I would like to make my charity " Cyber Donate" the first to go beyond being a charity that feeds local homeless. Expand to Latin America and Europe as well. This is definitely something I plan to go through with in order to not only help, but to bring even more and more positive attention to how BTC and other crypto-currencies are actually useful to those whom have absolutely no electronics, food, proper shelter and even sanitation! I have two college friends I convinced to work with me for a few hours each week, Luckily one speaks fluent in Spanish and English, I speak fluent in Polish and English which should help expand the area of effect for this charity and whom it can and will assist! Since the hardest part was finding someone willing to sacrifice sometime at the expense of helping the world and humanity become better off, also this project will be a great resume builder! Hopefully this week everything should be set in stone so I can contact my marketing friend and begin advertising how BTC helps everyone, not only those with electronics! I would like to personally thank " Seans Outpost" for giving me the inspiration and showing me it can be done. I recently quit playing video games and will devote all time outside of classes to this charity, if anyone is sincerely interested in helping please feel free to contact me! I want to provide each homeless with a nutritional guidebook to staying healthy and many other continuous ideas! God bless!

FYI: Many of the homeless seldom read, not that they can't, and many of them start their day snipe hunting, and I don't mean the bird, ergo the more you learn about their predicament, whether by choice or economics or unsaid other, the better you'll position yourself to help them, along with the ability to amass sponsors and donations for your venerable cause. ~Bruno Kucinskas

Thanks, bud. I'll be adding [16] to the tally due your kind donation. https://blockchain.info/tx/43b549dcb7cfd37b85375d5d81c0f2eb4b71d295ee11cee05957cdf7f744d695Also, another [20] meals will be added due to a partial refund I submitted for a leather wallet order, of which the purchaser desired that I donate to either Sean's Outpost or Bitcoin 100, opting this cause as the better option for various reasons. I'm withholding his name for privacy purposes, but he's more than welcome to come here and claim his donation, of which I will then verify. ~TMI BTCITW

First, thank you kindly for your donation, of which I will add [4] to the tally, bud. Second, was ready to pen in said thread, but saw this atop the fold first, saving the gooooooood news till I get over there in a sec. Proving, once again, that I don't call myself they don't call me TMI BTCITW for nothing.
