current ICO model doesn't work. The team doesn't have the motivation anymore after their (successful ICO). That never works. Look at communism and Trezos

they're already starting to die. I think this is why ETH's capitalization has decreased. We need only look at % of scam, and where not justified trust

Actually  I don't think they will "die"... after all regulating stuff they are gonna be more strict and severe, but phenomenon itself will live

Current form of ICOs will die in  next 1 max 2 years.
People become more and more carefull choosing projects to invest in.
After that we will get just a new, hi-tech form to find investments.

ico will never die, but its numbers will continue to decrease. investors will be more careful in choosing ico where they will invest. that's good, because there will only be the best ico who dares to offer his project.

I agree. As much as it has such a negative reputation now, and many people are actually not liking how there are so many ICO projects popping out, and the fact that many of them are considered either scams or failures are not helping its cause; however, I think that it still remains as one of the legit means of earning coins or tokens in the market, and in turn, would help you get some profit in the end. It's just incumbent to the joiners and ICO investors to be more careful with the projects they are joining to avoid joining those projects that are going to be failures. The support people give, especially in this forum, are still indicators that ICOs could last for a longer time.

ICO is a way for a new platform to raise funds that will be used to develop the platform.
ICO will die if people do not want to create a new platform, because almost 90% of a new platform will hold an ICO to get funds from the community.
currently ICO has mushroomed, ICO is very difficult to control because the world of cryptocurrency is now growing rapidly. the more people who participate in an ICO then the chance ICO die will be very difficult to happen.

It seems to me that everything will be fine! Advertising and investors are always necessary and very often bounty hunters also act as investor!

ICOs are just getting started same like crypto, so i do not expect them to stop anytime soon, may be they will be regulated more or slow down but they will keep coming.

we can not surely set a date for ICOs to die, some might just prove to be very successful projects while others may fail and fade off due to poor project planning among other things, ICOs can therefore not be judged as a whole,

And why should ICO die? It will be transformed into a market. Perhaps it will begin to obey more and more regulators. Most likely, weak projects will leave the market.

after the completion of a project and all ICOs will be sold out and the profits taken by the seller are so many we will not be able to match it.

I think that together with the stabilization of the market, the situation with ICO will also improve. While the biggest problem is  so many of skam in the crypt.

ICO is launched for a project that is made related to crypto so as long as crypto is still there i think ico will also remain and if crypto is dead then ico will also die

In my opinion, I will say ICOs won't die instead they will fade away on the long run especially when they must have achieve their purposes. On the contrary, I also think ICOs cannot just fade away, because in as much as their would be projects, ideas to execute, their would always be fund raising to meet demands required and in as much as their are investors ready to invest their money, their would always be ICOs. Just my thought.

ICOs will not die soon. They are a formidable resource for setting up a start-up when you do not have capital and entrepreneurial reputation to place shares.

ICOs will only die if there are not enough people to invest on new projects anymore. But since we are now seeing an increase of new projects now and then and we can pretty much observe that there is still a sufficient number of investors to these new projects that will make you realize that ICOs would pretty much stay as long as we have these investors.

I think it will happen never. It`s the best way to earn money for R&D. Also, we have a lot of scam, but it`s really not a problem, ICO gives more opportunities than
problems Smiley

Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
I think they will survive for a very long time and we can make more profit with them.
