I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake)

I think 99% of people in the crypto space can say they made a move either, buying, not buying, selling or not selling a coin.

It's happened multiple times to myself, and will probably happen again

A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..

At least you have learned your lesson and we have learned too from your experience. I would say that if you believe in a certain coins then hold it for at least a year or two because that span of time can make you a millionaire or you go broke. At least you give a try to a promising coin.

By the way, you did not lost anything, you just gained small.

Almost same thing happened I sold around 100k dent coin for 0.1 ether after a month I could have sell it for more than a 10k may be even more because price reached 0.10$ . I learned a big lesson from this mistake. But it is not always true some coins looses its value more than 100 times.

but it doesn't matter,that experience will become a lesson for us as a trader so we don't repeat it again.

First and foremost you did not lost any money and investment. It is more likely you missed a big oppurtunity because you sold earlier before it flew. I hope you had make a lesson on this experience you should have checked the coins / tokens fundamental analysis and the news that is upcoming so you will have an idea where its market will go.

how do you guess? a friend sold early - the coin later grew. The next time he decided to wait - the coin fell, lost money.

It's actually normal for investor to do mistake like panic buying and selling, or cases like this. The best thing that you could do is to learn from it. Get yourself up and don't give up. Invest more, educate yourself more so you won't be able to commit the same mistake again.

Years ago I bought 6 BTC at $60 each to use online. Well I forgot about them until price was roughly $100 each. I thought I scored big and spent them on Silk Road haha

Shortly after BTC went sky rocket and never stopped. I seriously did not see it coming so fast and so high.

How can you say you lost $80,000 when you didn't have any Zclassic when the price spiked? You didn't lose anything.

That's like saying you lost $50,000,000 because you didn't buy a lottery ticket that might have won.

In any case, there are plenty of other moonshot opportunities, just invest $500 each into the top 10 promising candidates, you only need one to succeed to recoup your investment and more.

He is right. What you could do now is to analyze trends and buy tokens when "there is blood on the streets". Or even better invest in a project during presale stage and get your bonus, wait and sell when you have profit (usually when token is listed) - that's called FLIP.

At the first place you didnt lost, you only gain a little income. Thats the mistake all newbies, the important of having coins is holding it. Waiting patiently for its price to inceease and reach its peak.

I've been there man, i once had 300k Verge, which have been worth 60k $ when the price was 0.2$ per coin.
I just sold it way too early because i though it was just a pump and dump coin...

Well at the moment i dont like Verge at all. Would be happy if i sold it away

many of us have made a mistake in trading because sometimes we don't have the patience to wait for the price increases. like the op, I guess we are often making this mistake and actually we can make a big profit but we cannot wait any longer and decide to sell that coin. the most important lesson for every trader needs to learn about patience and controlling our emotion and it is only a few people that could do this. but I am sure that after we learn about this, we can apply in trading and finally we can make a profit.

that is the characteristic of cryptocurrency, when first released in the market, then the price will be very low even below ico price, but when the project has a positive development, then the price will rise drastically, this also I have experienced as a newbie

it is a big money for many ppl, and decent for rich ppl too, but there is always a question, when should i sell or buy? Or u wanna just invest into? We all are human, so we make mistakes, you will make every mistake in the book. Don’t beat yourself up when you make mistakes, just learn and try not to make the same mistake twice

In fact, it's not quite a loss, it's not getting a potential profit. However, on the other hand, you sold the tokens and avoided the potential loss from lowering the price. This is the market. And here it is not possible to foresee everything and plan everything.

Maybe just be careful next time mate, emotion  controls yourself that why it happened. You are afraid to gain some losses. Try reading charts mate about trading so that you know what to do next. Happy trading

Panic selling is the worst thing to do and a panic seller is the worst character of every Crypto holder.
Thanks to my full-time job that could provide my family's daily needs, and no need for me to sell any of my Assets because I know that this is the best time to hold still because everything is pumping.
I am now holding more than $40,000 since last November although it drops from $150,000 to $20,000 last 2 weeks.

shit happens  believe me almost all of us already experienced very similar issues. but crypto market is still new and there will be many more opportunities in the future. The worst thing you can do is stop checking other opportunities and complain about past.
