For a newbie, these kinds of mistakes tend to happen because of inexperience, need to be watchful about the market need to analyze the situations. Beginning these are all quite common as the day progresses they will get knowledge so that error becomes less.

Good point is that you didn't have 80K - it was only likely profits. And you should know that you're not alone with the same mistakes.

A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..
Don't you see the difference between lost and didn't make? If you would bought in total for 180k and then after price falls you sell for 100k, then you have lost 80k, but not that way as you described.

Beginners always make mistakes due to lack of experience, but you have not lost anything. I hope in the future you will be more patient and will be able to see a good profit.

Yes its a very common mistake done by a newbie here. I think most of people here lost big money because they all sell too early when they are newbie. But with this experience you can learn new things that you wont learn if you havent done it. People needs failure to grow up, so dont be sad because of that mistake, but be grateful it happend to you and use it to grow more. Keep doing the usual things and start deciding when to cash out with your previous experience.

How can you say you lost $80,000 when you didn't have any Zclassic when the price spiked? You didn't lose anything.

That's like saying you lost $50,000,000 because you didn't buy a lottery ticket that might have won.

In any case, there are plenty of other moonshot opportunities, just invest $500 each into the top 10 promising candidates, you only need one to succeed to recoup your investment and more.

I agree. OP, you didn't really lose anything.. It's the same thing as saying "I bought bitcoin when it was $1 and sold it at $3 dollars, but I lost 1 million dollars because bitcoin is up to 10k now".

It would be different if you bought it at 10k and then sold it at 5k... Then you could say you lost money.   Cheesy

Well you can say you lost 80k because you where not having any coin at the time the price rise up, after all you have sold and recovered your initial capital plus gain on it. But my advice next time try and hold for long because the cryptocurrencies market is highly volatile and price is not always stable. What you should do is to buy and hold next time and don't be in a rush to sell either because of little price rise or panic selling due to little drop in price.

I think that every newbie has such mistakes, that's why everyone recommends investing first in cheaper cryptocurrencies.

I think not just every new people but for every people which involve in trade cryptocurrencies will make a mistake even for the small mistake because of nobody perfect and we can make a mistake in anytime. but we also have a chance to fix the mistake and we can recover our lost if we really tried and there will be a way for us to still make a profit.

Novices gain experience in ongoing transactions that will bring you more wealth in the future.

Because you learned more experience in trading.

The digital currency is very volatile, holding a coin until we feel it is making enough profit.

You don't have to bother about these things. You could have the opposite situation. You are sure that you were more than sorry that you lost $ 80,000 for not selling. Therefore, keep chasing investment opportunities. I'm sure you'll get an opportunity one day.

No problem, just be patience to get more profits. Always try to buy when falling fast and sell when going up
This is a wise suggestion because most of people use to buy bitcoin and hold but some new people do this kind of mistake. They are new and invest without getting much information about investment in crypto currency so they make false decision of selling bitcoin and altcoins early at very low price.

So be patient and hold bitcoin for as long as possible so it will be the reason of profit for you in future and you will be happy for it/ one should learn from mistakes and never repeat it again ever in future.

Quote
Not all coins moon, so those who hold on and hold on hoping for a moon often end up losing money and becoming bagholders instead.

Exactly. So don't just start hodling everything regardless, you have to try to evaluate the situation every time.
