Holochain Rust Alpha version is due to be released this month (very probably). Then more things will have an answer. Holochain atm is object of a heavy refactoring from Go to Rust that's why the situation is a bit fluid right now. Proper documentation is being build too on github.

Some people may have feeling that beta launch plan for early next year is way too far. But we should look at other projects of which developers rushed in past and delivered full of bugs code and later millions of dollars lost because of exploitation of those bugs. Crypto is here to stay and grow only thing what can be differ is good platforms will replace older which didn't deliver and can't after so long.

There is anonymity tech out there already, Holo will have a public ledger. Which I see as more valuable than a private ledger because bots can be used.

That's true at the moment Ethereum is base for ERC-20 tokens but don't forget this wheel of evolution is going ahead where utility tokens to security tokens and many other standards of protocols are being worked on already. In future there will be multiple platform engaged with various companies to provide services according to their needs. Holo is being built according to meet the needs of future that's why its active role in this industry is necessary.

Already we are seeing there are multiple platforms launching different parts of the world where China NEO, South Korea ICX etc. Every country is farming a smart contract technology which will help those countries not use other platform but every coin is implemented in their own blockchain. |

Holo Beta should launch early 2019. Once sufficient testing has been done, the swap will commence. The details of the swap (step-by-step of how it will be carried out) have not been release. What is certain is that there will be plenty of announcement leading up to the swap and the swap will be open for at least 6 months (potentially longer).

If you buy now from exchanges and wait for swap to be announced, you are all fine. That swap will be available for holders of Hot token so there is nothing to worry about. You will have equally rights like anyone else to swap the old tokens by new ones. I think this reply cleared your concerns and you understood the swap how it will work.

I can tell my own opinion regarding price that is unpredictable at this stage where are standing now. Prices will depending on the usage and adoption of these platforms and their effectiveness. One thing is sure supplies are going to be irrelevant and concept of large supplies to expect prices has already proven wrong. Today we have many coins and tokens with large supplies with prices higher than those of few millions even.

You shouldn't be caring of price if your plans are really to hold Hot for 2 years. If there is some increase then is like bonus for you @CryptoClown1. Here no one can say where price will be in next year because to predict you should be expert and deep knowledge of markets to throw your prediction in market. It has potential and you want to go for long then any change upwards or downwards shouldn't be your businesses.

If you have plan to hodl this coin for long term than it deosn't matter what price will be in next year. Price increase depend on different factors the most important what is size of the community and how big support it have. If we look the current progress than it looking promising project. |

Thanks for the reply Abonarea, But you have to sell at some point, i am not planning to take the coin to heaven if you know what i mean. At 0.01 i will sell all coins i have so that is my question could it reach that high. I understand nobody can say the price but some projections have potentien like XRP 2 years ago.
