Hello,
I come to seek your wisdom about i scam i have been victim of recently.
The scam has nothing special, i just bought an occasion 7950 to a girl recently as working and it was not, shame on me, i didn't ask any proof to see it working.

What happened next is strange.
I contacted the seller through her email and she responded saying that she had no idea who i am or what i want… Then said that if so, she might have a compromised account and she should check security center of gmail to see the connection location.
I added a link to an image of my own security center that was a trap to log her IP.

What is strange is that her IP Was very far from where i live and makes no sense for a scammer to go from one side of france to another to scam me.

This person claim that she works near paris but travels through france which is compatible with the distant IP log.
Also that people in her work can access to her computer. But the transaction (and emails) were made a sunday!
Also her way of writing seems to have changed, less mistakes.
She claims that her security center looks ok.

So i am a bit lost about what to do next. At least i got an ip and a answering e-mail.
If she stole me why would this ip show up so far, why would she gives a fuck about responding to me? If not it doesn't make sens for a theif to hack an account when he can just create a fake one...

what do you think?

The cost of mediation increases transaction costs, limiting the
minimum practical transaction size and cutting off the possibility for small casual transactions

The Ip could be changing because of Tor or even a cell phone. But, did you receive a return address?
