Hi,
Using bitcoind 0.8.5, I am unable to perform a getrawtransaction on the transaction stored in block 0 (4a5e1e4baab89f3a32518a88c31bc87f618f76673e2cc77ab2127b7afdeda33b).
I am running bitcoind with option txindex=1 and performed a reindex after enabling it.
All other transactions seem to work well (for example transaction 0e3e2357e806b6cdb1f70b54c3a3a17b6714ee1f0e68bebb44a74b1efd512098 of block 1).
Should I start from scratch with an empty DB and txindex=1 ?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

bitcoin-qt doesn't index the first transaction
That's why Satoshi can't redeem it
