What is DIRA?

DIRA is a new hybrid cryptocurrency where the core, based on the pure Proof-of-Staking algorithm SHA-256 of the feature-rich and reliable NXT platform, is accompanied by a central rewarding system where users can get DIRA through Proof-Of-Work algorithms, playing games and "mining". In particular we implemented the BrainMining, where users have to solve problems (math equations, cyphered words, etc.) in order to get a variable reward. Users can even gains coins playing the games that will be added on the website (JavaScript games). And if users want to gain coins with a more classical "CPU mining", they can use the JavaScript web miner (currently SHA-512 algorithm) that tries to emulate a PoW mining giving them a reward for every "block" that they find.

DIRA has many uses but we think that the mobile games and apps industry is one of the markets that can benefit from a simple and fast cryptocurrency. This is why we are focused on it and we aim for developers to implement DIRA as a payment system in their projects. But DIRA has no limits. it can be used in every situation where there is the need for a fast transaction. It is only up to DIRA users establish its applications.

DIRA project was born to be community lead.

Important: as per Jelurida public license (JPL) the 10% of the DIRA supply was allocated to the NXT holders. Every NXT address will receive a sharedrop proportional to its balance at the time of the snapshot (blocks height 1711114).

WILL DIRA HAVE AN ICO?

DIRA won't have an ICO simply because DIRA starting value is ZERO. We are aware of the possibility for the project to fail due to its "unusual" concept, so we decided to assume the initial risk ourselves. We are then mainly focused on building a strong community around DIRA and working to make its value could grow as it becomes even more used.

HOW CAN I GET DIRA?

You can get DIRA through forging (every forger gains the transaction fees of the block forged), BrainMining, playing games and actively participating in the DIRA project.

CENTRAL REWARDING SYSTEM and BrainMining
The rewarding system is our way of distributing tokens to the users. In order to get the tokens, the users have to complete a series of tasks that we called "BrainMining" because the users can solve them without the help of any particular hardware. The amount of the reward for each task is variable.

Currently we offer:

- BrainMath: Users have to find the correct variable and operation to solve a math problem.

- BrainCypher: Given 3 cyphered words, the user has to provide the decrypted words.

Games:
Another way that users have to get DIRA is to play the games on the website. Playing them the users receive a variable reward depending on the score (or level, depending on the game) that they reach.

WebMiner:
For users who can't for lack of time, or who simply don't want to use the BrainMining tasks or play the games, we implemented a JavaScript webminer that simulates a "classic mining".

Why the rewarding system and not a classic coin that users could mine in the usual way with CPU, GPU, pools etc?
There are two main reasons, both equally important. Firstly, we wanted a way to distribute the token to the users in a more uniform way, so that even people who can't afford mining hardware can obtain it. Secondly, we just wanted to create something different.

Important note: the reward of the BrainMining will always be higher than other kinds of mining. So even if you have mining hardware (ex. High level CPU), the BrainMining will always be more profitable. This is an important aspect we want to focus on in order to give everyone the same (or at least a similar) opportunity to get DIRA.

SETUP A DIRA NODE

Everyone can setup theor own node. To incentivize creation of new nodes we offer a reward of until the DIRA network reaches a good number of independents nodes. DIRA's own nodes will stay up forging to ensure the functionality of the network.

1) Write your address (IP and Account) both in the topic and to us through e-mail (preferred) or PM.

2) Daily you'll receive 150 DIRA (UPDATE: the reward will be increased to 0.9137 mln/day to divide among the nodes), we'll check if the nodes are still up.
