Will ETH beat BTC someday?

It is for  the people to know better, we have seen turbulent times all over the market, so in near future it is my believe that ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in overall market capitalisation. And as an added bonus it might in the same run get a higher adoption.

Honestly it is very hard to speculate on that, I noticed that whenever Bitcoin's value declines in the
market all other currencies seems to go down after it. Bitcoin affects and sends a ripple effect to other
existing coins, ETH is one of them. They are different, I know the difference in technology and the services
they render. Even with ETH's stability, I think for now it's not going to defeat Bitcoin any time soon. A few
more years and a few more solutions might pave the way, but not in 2018 for sure.

Look at the price of bitcoin that is so huge compare to Ethereum I think it's impossible to reach her price this 2018.

actually, ETH and bitcoin are quite different aspect, they have their own unique blockchain and total supply, so we can not compared them like this, but i can sure ETH will never be able to defeat bitcoin even in future. bitcoin rightnow is too powerful and ETH price is too far away from bitcoin price, so catching up with btc in the future is quite impossible.

It can't be happen, if you see in the graphic, for compare the value between Bitcoin and ETH is far away. Refer to that data I think impossible to be happen.
But ETH  is the one great investment.

It won't cause etherum has some better technical aspects imo which make him growing so fast and that is why it will beat bitcoin someday.

True, there is many new cryptocurriencies which represent the real value. BitCoin is alike archetype of the newer projects. For example decentralized storage clouds like Nebula Network. What's innovative in this project is stable exchange rate, independent from btc rate.

I think ETH has a good potential to catch or surpass BTC, but with all these articles that BTC will intend to become like a real currency then more likely, BTC will become a full currency and ETH will take place on the virtual market , also these speculations i think can be occurred in the next upcoming years

well if ETH will succeed to surpass BTC, definitely crypto might be doomed. BTC is the original and the most reliable crypto for most of the exchange platform, I do not see it will beat BTC somehow. just my 2sats.

We all know that ETH is as promising as BTC but I don't think ETH will surpass the value of BTC as the latter gained more popularity this days, making it more usable by consumers. Looking at how BTC improved its services today because of the segwit recently, I still think that it'll be hard for ETH to surpass BTC more.

No not really. ETH will raised it's price in 2018 but will not be the same price as Bitcoin. I could happen but not this year maybe few years. As we can see, ETH price is raising when BTC price is falling down but bitcoin price is easily regaining it's price from sudden down.

If you are asking if Eth will cost the same as BTC then you are asking it wrong. Ethereum has a far bigger supply than Bitcoin so it won't be possible for it to match its price and stay near the market cap of Bitcoin. You need to look into it in the market cap terms.

Haven't you all considered that ETH and BTC will be beaten by something else. Technological innovation is speeding up every decade. Maybe one day, our kids will scoff at us re-living the blockchain days. Maybe to them it's some old clunky decentralized network.

Maybe somday it will happen but dont think in near future we have so much way to go and dont think it will happened soon ,so much people know about BTC but not crypto and alts so ,not soon.
