Will ETH beat BTC someday?

I think ETH can not pass bitcoin, because bitcoin is the first coin, and it is the mother of all coins. Bitcoin has a very large community and most big investors choose Bitcoin for investment purposes, and Bitcoin is still the highest coin level.

It is quite impossible to say how will be happened in future but from my little thinking ETH can't beat BTC. Already everyone have known BTC is the king of all crypto currency so no coins can beat BTC. But ETH is more popular coin for now it will touch new value but still now ETH can't beat BTC.

I think it can not be that easy for to be the same like bitcoin, because we know bitcoin is the mother of all coins, it would be very difficult to be the same like bitcoin and especially bitcoin is the most popular coin

In my opinion, maybe in the next 2 years ETH will overcome Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin trading time is longer and costs are higher. Investors have now sold BTC and bought ETH, According to statistics from google, the potential for BTC has fallen sharply compared to the time before. Let us see the downturn of the upcoming BTC and ETH will rise to the throne.

It takes a few more years to see Etherum's consistency, Etherum has excellent prospects and currently has a huge volume of market. This can not be separated from trusted Etherum as a platform in various Projects. Never mind that Etherum is currently the best altcoin ever, mathally we can predict that the Etherum will be the strongest competitor to compete with the power of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is currently very powerful and it may take 3 to 5 years to reach the level owned by Bitcoin. One of the standards that must be owned by Etherum is to increase public confidence to be able to always use Etherum. That way the Etherum capacity in the various sectors that are already controlled by Bitcoin today can become better known.

It is possible but it will take time,Bitcoin is most popular and reliable coin in crypto world and highest capture in the market,Investors attractive from its unique features.Ether is also growing its usage also widened and the team behind ether is too competitive which can make possible.At last both coins are reliable and you can select according to affordability and priority.

i think it is not possible for an altcoin like ETH have the chance to defeat btc in the future, i still believe there are so many investors are still using btc more than ETH and because of the dominance of btc is too big that not any single altcoin can defat bitcoin, even when ETH is the most popular altcoins just right after btc. i know btc will be weak one day but it will be a very long time from now.

I dont think so. Eth can not beat BTC. Crypto market is establish through BTC as a main coin also. Market is going up and down based on BTC and eth also. So if eth depends on BTC how it beat BTC i could not guess it. BTC will be unique everytime.

Bitcoin is currently a lot where it is used for exchange , I think because of this he will not lose leadership, although it is very reasonable to have in the portfolio and ETH.

According to my opinion, there are a big chance that ethereum will cost as much like bitcoin price today but I dont think that any coins can beat the base of all cryptocurrency which is bitcoin,  there is no way that bitcoin will be left behind especially in cryptocurrency world because it was the best and has a big potential for its future.

I think so . If BTC is not improved to run the technology then it will surely die. I like faster trading methods of ICO projects than BTC.

it is for sure. i expect it even before end of 2018. because ethereum already proved itself in lsaat a few months. it looks much stronger comparing with bitcoin. and icos keep using ethereum based tokens and collecting ethereum for their crowdsales...

In that case it may be possible that ethereum can beat bitcoin now. As what bitcoin decreasing rapidly,  it may be possible that ethereum may in the first rank in the coin market cap but it may not be happen this year right away. It may be happen in the future.

Why? because if bitcoin crashes the value of Ethereum is affected and most if not all altcoins follow bitcoin as the price standard

just like most fiat currencies are pegged to the USD...it'd the same relationship btc shares with other altcoins unless cryptos are pegged to something otherthan btc say something like gold, oil then Ethereum could rule.
