The same thing! I didn't anticipate it to blow up the way it is right now.

There's a part of me that regrets it, but we're already benefiting from the current situation by playing Axie Infinity, so I won't be too hard on myself. It's incredible that Axie Infinity has already been around for three years, and they truly deserve what's happening to the team right now because it's a fantastic game that I enjoy playing.

If you join early and play to earn and hold for long time. With the rise of AXS and this game, they would earn decent money as said. I don't think most of gamers who joined early still hold their rewards. They have to sell their AXS and SLP for income and to get their capital back.

AXS has good growth and not only gamers but investors would be happy with profit they have from AXS. The story for SLP is different as it is dumping too deep. Price of SLP looks likely to set up a bottom range and in consolidation time after that we might see a rally of SLP.

That's right, especially for SLP tokens there are no signs of a reversal, still consolidating and hopefully not going down further. I have filled my bag with SLP tokens when the price was $0.1++ and now it's -50%

SLP is an utility token with only one use right now: breeding
no guarantees that the price of it will go up

I bought it because of speculation, At that time the market was improving and almost all Altcoins were increasing in price, At that time the SLP was still bottoming and I thought it would soon break out and make an uptrend, it turned out that my speculation was wrong. I was unlucky, however today the SLP token increased by more than 30% I hope it will continue.

The game is now more professional and only good players will be able to make money from it.

However SLP price is on the rise and SLP holders can take profit home

As I look at the charts and your posts here, I am seriously considering the transfer of capital from AXIE to SLP.
It seems that here the hype will slowly end and SLP will start.

Additionally, how long will it take to retrieve the initial capital back? Axie is a big and safe game to play. It is not a rug pull game but it seems the ROI is not high and it requires months of playing and investing to get capital back.

this link is wrong, as of months ago axie has migrated to Ronin so they're not on opensea anymore, you can't buy these axies there.

right now a good team on axie will cost around 0.16 ETH (axie prices fell a lot since last months) and you'll be able to farm at least 70 SLP/day if you are a good player (some farm way more)
this would be 2100 SLP in a month, 0.0318088 eth, you'd have your investment back in 5 months
supposing you farm this amount and don't win any prizes, etc...
could be much faster
