ETH lovers even say that with the ultrasound money narrative ETH could flip bitcoin at some point

If you have $10k or $20k and do such big transactions, transaction fee on Ethereum network is not a big matter with you. However, not all crypto users are rich like that and they have to consider other chains with cheaper transaction fees.

If they can have second option, they won't use Ethereum.

Flip against Bitcoin, I don't think Ethereum will achieve it but sure Ethereum enthusiasts can dream and shill whatever they believe in or want to do.

I agree that ETH transactions are expensive for most users and they'd need a way to scale
let's see if eth 2.0 will be as good as everyone expect

Wow, it's been a while since I visited and check this thread. I'm really thankful for the guy who started this thread because if I didn't see this 2 years ago, I didn't know axie until now and would not be able to make a substantial amount of money. I can definitely say that Axie solves my financial problem and now I'm 100% support in other NFT games out there, somehow someday, that game would help people in their financials just by playing.

one more time, axie main activity runs on Ronin which is another chain with free transactions now and really low fees in the future
so you don't have to worry that much about ethereum congestion when playing

I see good developments from Axie team by the report. Even if I don't read this one, I know Axie has passed its tipping point from which it can grow up more without too much budget for marketing. Social media and communities do it for them freely.

Now they can just focus on developing products and every news they release will be spread massively by communities and social media.

a crazy thing is that they now have billions of dollars in ETH and AXS on their treasury but they still don't even invest in marketing, probably because the growth would get to a level that is too big for them to sustain without having server problems and keeping the game stable

I meant it. They successfully passed through tipping point so that they get huge support from community, social media, and they get it totally free. I think they have total marketcap is bigger than many banks in small nations that is absolutely unbelievable. Furthermore, it is possibly reason they did not actually use their budget for marketing proactively.

If this related to the price of AXS and don't worry it's just the matter of time until it will ne increasing again but if this is about SLP and you should need to worry. The price of SLP was dipping and so many people are trying even harder to grinding more SLP and then they dump it once it gets unlocket. THe price of SLP becomes low as people care only about how to get money but their income was very less and dropping a lot right now.

If SLP goes to the zero and you may know what will be happening with it. There will be a bunch of FUD coming to this game. They have prepared some updates but i do believe that will be useless update

From a ROI perspective, joining now is fine. For historical players, it is very frustrating. The issue however is that with the low price, the amount of time investment for such little reward makes it more difficult to get excited about.

I'm not an Axie player but the SLP price right now is something you want to have when it was trading at $0.399727 now it was down -95.5%
it's very attractive for holders, there's still hope for Axie this is the pioneer and the one that revolutionizes the play to earn, it will soon regain its glory we are still in the PVE hype.

This is called poor vision by the developers of the AXIE team if they have this exit scam mentality. They have produced a great blockchain game and had a lot of people around the world playing this game. They could have continued this and earned a constant income and respect / fame forever. It's just you have a hen that produces one egg daily or you become greedy and do something to damage the hen itself in search of quick profit.

Anyways i still don't think that they will let the AXIE game be like this forever. They will introduce some changes and also when the bitcoin market becomes stable, SLP and AXS prices will increase too. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I do not understand how and when SLP will regain its value. SLP has an unlimited supply and no burning mechanism which means that there is no chance for the SLP price to rise as people are constantly selling their free tokens which they received daily by winning the game.

Even the axis prices are down. For those who have invested in this game about two months before, it will be impossible to recover their ROI. It may take a year or more to just come up to the level of their investments in the game.
