so is this it for TIX, the web site WorkForCrypto.com Huh

where are the dedicated TIX web sites?

Asking before we drop TIX and go with DVC or FTC

That's the first one. We haven't even launched it yet we are still working on it. I'm not going to beg you not to drop it, but we have the dev team working on more projects to support the coins instead of pumping out new bullshit than any others you will find

Pushing out a checkpoint today to get rid of the old checkpoint error. No need to upgrade, it will be hot fixed

Appreciate the communication, just keep us informed it's a fast market

thanks

What other projects would you guys like to see? That's a question to everyone, not just you. We are doing our best to create places to make these coins usable in places other than just the exchanges. I think we are doing a good job on that so far. For this being such a young coin, we already have a lot more than many established coins do

The projects we decide to push to the top of priority list are the ones that are going to actually get used. It's pointless for us to make something that nobody wants

I would like to see stability and a solid brand behind the coin, we just opened an profit sharing program on Worldcoin (WDC) and it sold out within 2 days http://wdc.rapidballs.eu/invest/  we would like to do the same with Tix http://tix.rapidballs.eu but need stability and a focuses plan.

Where is this unknown dev team ? https://github.com/LotteryTickets/LotteryTickets is abandoned, there is a pending patch there for fixing the getbalance bug.

It's not abandoned at all. There are many known ways around that particular issue and it will be addressed in the clients next update. It's not enough for an update on its own

That is an issue that affects many coins. To say it's a TIX problem is a bit unfair, even though we will have it fixed in the next update

Have you used github and git before ? An active dev team would surely reply to open issues, and apply the patches if appropriate or discuss the issue. Applying a patch doesn't involve making a new release. It is a TIX problem since that repo is the TIX repo, the patch there shows it is a bug in TIX. If you forked this from anywhere else, that is also a bug in the other coin, to which you should apply the same patch.

The "many known ways around" that issue are all bad workarounds, especially when the fix is a very simple one which eliminates all of them.

TIX is a unique crypto currency being the only scrypt-jane with random block rewards for the first several hundred thousand blocks. It is a collective effort of several prominent developers that have experience both creating and maintaining networks for coins. Not only does this provide solid coding for the coin itself, but also the knowledge and experience to keep the network going and patch any issues, should they arise.

The development team will remain anonymous at this point, but will continue to monitor and maintain both the code and network better than any other developer or development team can. Our team is comprised of individuals that are responsible for no fewer than 20 coins currently being exchanged. Mine and trade with confidence of instant transactions knowing that this coin is backed by the best, and only the best. We don’t want this coin to succeed based on our reputations of releasing very solid and profitable coins. This one will speak for itself!

Seems like this is a slowly dying project. The wallet needs an update.

No it doesn't...what needs updating? Checkpoint can be updated with no wallet update. We will do it this weekend

Well, I don't. Instead I get a much cooler message:

Code:
"errors" : "EXCEPTION: N5boost16exception_detail10clone_implINS0_19error_info_injectorINS_21thread_resource_errorEEEEE       \nboost::thread_resource_error       \nLotteryTickets in ProcessMessages()       \n"

Uhm.. when using github it is good to reference the issue that was fixed in the commit, so the issue also gets closed and a reference between the two is created.

That other issue I mentioned after you said the checkpoint was fixed seemed to go away after restarting the daemon, by the way.

I am using the GPU miner provided and attempted to mine on coinmine.pl - miner shows "Block Found for Pool 0!" but nothing is reflected on coinmine - not even a hashrate. Are additional settings need?
