Personally, I struggle to see what is new that Ethereum Classic offers?
What sets it apart from the other more technologically advanced coins out there that are being worked on from ground up; such as Cardano, EOS, etc. and those already with actual real-world adoption such as Stellar Lumens, or Litecoin?
Will Ethereum Classic be as scalable? Or will it have the same issues as Ethereum once the network becomes just as busy?

So far, the complexity of mining has grown. This is the only thing I noticed. And there's no news yet. If the ETH goes to the PoS, the ETC should grow.

Ethereum classic offers nothing, there is no advantage to hold that forks coin dude. But as far as i know that the ethereum classic will try to get scalability solution through Callisto side chain. That's why there will be a Callisto hard fork in the future. But you can try to read more about that through this link https://themerkle.com/ethereum-classic-devs-aim-to-address-scaling-with-callisto-sidechain/

The main problem with the ETC is the lack of backward compatibility with the Ethereum Hard Fork. All the heavyweights of the Ethereum community have moved on to the new chain, which means that anyone who is part of the ETC won’t be able to access any of the updates done by the ETH. The perfect example is ETH’s move from Proof Of Work (PoW) To Proof of Stake (PoS). ETC won’t be able to implement that because their software simply doesn’t allow the use of updates.

For me Ethereum Classic is like an old car that rides and the spare parts are not expensive, but can break at any moment. I prefer Ethereum, this is where the future. I believe in its continuous growth.

First of all, The Ethereum classic is the original and the official and the first node ever, its not the new node as you refers to that in your thread. Ethereum Classic is so necessary because there's a team out working as i know, maybe. So, the real chain of eth who got hacked back in history is getting community member and followers so it wont die, at least, not yet

ETC or ethereum classic is the original coin of ethereum network, people are misinformed that ETC is a forked coin of ethereum which is in fact the opposite.I dont really see any big difference with the ethereum classic to the ethereum because they are created in the same code which is the ethereum's code created by Vitalik,if ETC wont resolve the shortcomings of ethereum it will just end just like what ethereum's network today.

Of course its existence is really needed because if ethereum classic wont exist, the forked coin which is the ethereum wont exist too.ETC is the first and orignal coin from ethereum's chain which gives this coin the advantage what bitcoin's has,but the developers of this coin didnt get a good support from our community that is why its value didnt overcome ethereum's market.

Actually Ethereum which we are using now is forked out from ETH classic because of DAO hack. Vitalik and his guys made some changes in the original ETH code to hard fork. So now you can decide if you need it or not. But scaling wise it will face the same problem of ETH (ETH has no problems now, fees are cheap again) until a scaling solution comes up.

Ye, men, you say my words. ETC have genesis block from ethereum blockchain not ETH. That's why ETC will exist long. And now when ETH prepare to PoS ETC will remain with PoW. And miners will have excellent alternative for self

Ruthless they have just begun yet, give them time. They were supposed to be able to have coins on their network like you can on Ethereum I don't know what happened to that perhaps not enough adoption.

Me neither, infarct it has made completely no attempt to complement Ethereum, no value addition no noting, its just another project that seeks investors with sweet promises with no proper base, totally unnecessary.

ETC isnt really a new thing because it is the first coin that ethereum's network has created,it was from the genesis block which ethereum isnt.So if ETC doesnt exist ETH wont exist too that is why ETC is necesarry to our market because it was the first of its kind, ethereum isnt the first ethereum coin because it is Ethereum Classic.

The decentralized platform of smart contracts in its original version. Own multi-million fund by summer 2018. The growth potential of 300% per year. At present, the Etherium Classic is managed by four developers (there are actually more developers) under the leadership of Arvicco. The Etherium Classic is well backed up by the miners who threw considerable computing power on it in the hope of making a profit.

Excellent. Agreed with all. Especially very promising looks fund starting activity on summer. I wait many from this coin. And some correction to IoT is good also. Not need to compete with ETH. ETC have own way
