When you sell your bitcoins, you need not give any additional tax but in case of of stocks, you have to give taxes based on when you withdraw the maturity. Also, investing in stocks can have a lot of costly fees. If you opt for no-load mutual funds, you don't have to pay any fees. You don't have to worry about trading fees that can be very steep when buying and selling stocks.
Note that these rules may vary from one country to another and this answer is based on current regulations in my country.

Difference between trading of forex and cryptocurrency is that forex is controlled by the countries because every country has its own interests and they can make changes in their currency as per their requirement and can create negative or positive effect but crypto currencies don't have any control and it cannot be influenced by any decision due to decentralised.

Dear mate, I don't agree with your opinion depending on 2 main reasons: 1. Which altcoins do you trade and do you deeply understand the ones you are holding? 2. Pumping or dumping, long-term or short-term, bubble or bottom etc.. is a different story and we have to face with them daily or even in some seconds. This is mainly the story of financial market which has happened for decades. Nothing's new here As for me, I bought some altcoins, such as: NEO, EOS, WAVES, LTC and some tokens also. I find the difference in them is that normal investing instrument is using real cash for buying and selling of that asset you are holding and not like crypto which you need to change to either eth or btc and even doing an additional step using eth or bts to buy various type of altcoins which i think is the main difference between them. Normal invesment is more to centralize and crypto is decntralise. |

There's not much difference when it comes to trading but the biggest difference between both of them, is in stock market you are investing in the company (but not really owning a part of the company), while in cryptocurrency you are investing in the technology or the cryptocurrency itself. Another difference is the cryptocurrency market is more volatile than stock market so there is a chance that you will gain huge profit by trading cryptocurrency but it is also riskier and higher chance that you will lose a lot of money in just a short period of time than stocks. I don't know much about forex because I haven't tried it yet.

In case of crypto, there are less options to choose and thus it is easy. With stocks, you need to research more. Now understand that nobody can successfuly predict the stock market 100% every time, but a financial professional can at least make possibly better picks than you.
If you've finally realized that you need to be investing your money, and you don't know how to invest or what to invest in, start with mutual funds. Watch your money grow, and if you ever feel confident enough you can buy your own stock picks. Until then, don't waste precious time, start investing right away!

I do see that regulation and overall maturity as the biggest factor here. When it comes to crypto, there is no regulation and upper limits and on the top of that, it is highly volatile market due to lack of maturity whereas stocks and Forex trading has evolved over the time in last few decades and thus they have a comparatively high advantage and maturity. It would not be a wise comparison in my opinion for fair results at this point. I believe that we would see a better picture in the coming years.

Interesting read. I am still waiting for the day when people actually start using Bitcoin more as a currency instead of using it as an asset or a stock. People need to know that this coin can have other uses too and is not just a piece of paper. Most of the other trading is regulated by some regulating authority while cryptos aren't so people get breathtaking returns and are hence attracted to the market.

In actual in the cryptocurrency we are not restricted to many type software the taxation system and also awe are not restricted to to Fiat value system , here in cryptourrency we are like totally independent tondo anything and also here we can do in any bulk amount . But in case of the stock market we are not able to make much because at one side lotsof limitations and another side fluctuations are not much better according to as we expect in altcoins market . Bitcoin is different in stocks in some aspects. Stocks is based on physical currency and of course, you have to invest cash to a company and get a small profit from it. Forex is like buy and selling cash. Once the value of a certain currency increases. When in bitcoin, you can do what you want to do like stocks and forex. |

There are some Forex Trading platforms that run through the weekends too and that is why there is a gap sometimes. Have you ever thought about how the gaps come about when the markets open on Monday? Compare and contrast forex brokers with cryptocurrency as against the Tabtrader as you will know this. |

IMO the main difference is the amount of manipulation caused by large numbers of coins being held by single entities. If we add that another huge amount is held by newbies, people who have no idea what they're buying we get a volatile mix where the whales prey on the weak hands. Don't get me wrong, the stock market is very similar, but in cryptocurrencies everything is much more intense.

It is very different between crypto trading and forex stocks, crypto trading runs for 24 hours without knowing working hours and running continuously and while forex runs during working hours, and crypto does not use margin like forex.

Yep, crypto markets are way more volatile and more dynamic. That’s the main difference. While stocks or forex markets are related to classical economics, crypto exchanges don't comply with traditional rules. They work 24/7/365, and prices change rapidly. Experienced traders make huge profits in hours or days, they make x5-x100 thanks to a few transactions. It’s impossible for traditional trading systems. As for other features, there is a giant number of coins and tokens. There are around 200 fiat currencies but more than 2,000 cryptos! You can buy crypto for fiat in different pairs, say, XRP for EUR ( https://cex.io/xrp-eur), or you can sell BCH for USD, and so on. |

the difference between cryptocurrency trading and forex trading have are big difference , the difference is liquidity.is difficult to exist or enter a trade in cryptocurrency trading in crypto exchanges , for example you find it difficult for your sell or buy order to be match with some one who is not ready to sell or buy at your own price , price of cryptocurrency can be manipulated by whale unlike the traditional Forex market. the world bank pump 5 trillion Dollar every day in the forex market for easy liquidity of financial instrument but the cryptocurrency is not substain by the world bank.

especially if you are talking trading alts
there is no regulation, no way to verify there is anything behind the white paper dreams and no way to verify most devs real id, no way to know if the exchanges are in on it
It is purely a gamble.
You are trading alts you are pretty much pure gambling.

Since stock market is traditional, it is controlled by big-fat investors and stupid governors. They never lose money where market goes. Whether it bear or bull, they find a way to win. Because they are not only players in the game, they also make rules. For example, one a day you saw that a new tax instrument for goverment come into force. For now, crypto market is not in the servise of governors or any other groups. They intend to change it and take measures to impose their own rules to crypto market.

Forex is a good and well-established market but the assets that are on it do not bring such income as from the cryptocurrency market.

forex trading, only provides USD currency and others, but crypto trading provides more thousands of assets or coins to trade.

Stocks and forex trading looks simple than cryptocurrency which is more complex and lacks information to help traders to make more informed decision. In stocks, the information about the company can easily help predict the price of the stock than information on cryptocurrency.

Yeah stock is more predictable because there are a lot of data that we can used and there are insurance, so the price can't go very high or drop very low, so it's safer to trade stock rather than crypto, but the earning from crypto is limitless and you don't need any documents to start trade crypto |
