Please, don't expect something big in bitcoin or crypto because its not a get rich scheme. Those who think it is got burned easily. Specially the irrational buyers last December. Eventually though we can get to $20K, but don't say that we can get there in few days or weeks. You need to have patience mate. There is no right time to buy bitcoin, but its better if you bought it a few weeks ago during the bottom, however, if you are in for the long haul, then buying at today's price shouldn't be an issue.

Of course your advise will still be relevant because bitcoin is currently on a rally. What price will the rally end? Nobody knows. But you have to stick through thick and thin and not panic sell.

That’s why you shouldn’t care too much about the price prediction of “experts” but develop your own gut feeling. Talking about 20.000…coinmarketcap can give you a hint how much money has to flow into market in order to reach this price. This is definitely not a “fast-selling” item…I personally consider BTC as a buy. But as you can’t time the market, maybe it is wise to invest only a certain proportion of your funds and the rest a couple of weeks later once you “earned” a safety margin. Yeah it's still profitable, altho you don't have to buy whole bitcoin, you can buy a fraction as well like 0.5 or so. Also, the price is sure to go over $20,000 this year, no doubt, but I doubt that it will be in a "few days".

Yes. One dude, that predicted prices in 2015-2017, has predicted that this year it might go up to $200,000 but that's a little far fetched imo.

You are quite right. Bitcoin is a gambling game only for people who know nothing about it. Do not understand the rules of the market, which affects the growth and fall of currencies and more.

Bitcoin is a gamble for all of us, anyone who thinks otherwise is foolish. There is definitely an element of skill and knowledge but no one can predict things with certainty and hence it is a gamble.

The difference between those that understand the way the markets work and those that don't is this:

- the ones who understand are taking educated gambles with positive expectations (effectively like the house in a casino)
- the ones who don't understand are simply guessing and will end up with a negative expectation (these guys are the punters)
