If you don't know how to solo mine then I guarantee you don't have enough hashrate to even try it. Especially if you're trying to mine with Nvidia cards.

The web wallet is a down for server upgrades and fixes. You should download an actual Haven wallet as is always recommended.

The web wallet has been handed off to be run by another developer now as it became unviable to manage with the increased network load as you mentioned there were frequent crashes. The web wallet should never be used alone. You should download a local wallet from the website.

Good to know that you guys took the proper steps to solve the issue.
So we can hope that it will be back on line sometime in the future.

I have about 10 haven that I would like to recover one day... on the web wallet.
In the mean time I am not able to get the GUY wallet to connect properly. Surely user error, yet it is the only wallet, out of 10 different coins, that I am not able to get going.
Having a proper web wallet that just plain work, idiot proof (ala XMR or ETN) for a crypto that desire to succede is not a bad thing either.
It is just simple marketing.

1.You're still accepting shares for sumo with the old cryptonight pow.
2.You report wrong pool hashrates (maybe because of the wrong pow).
3.the vardiff is very very wrong. It increases at a very very slow rate. I have a rig with 2840h/s that can mine at diff 84000 - this is the stable diff after 2 days of mining at hashvault.pro. Your pool starts at diff 5000 and after 2 days, it increased my diff to only 35000. WTF? Can't you see the huge amount of low diff shares that are bombarding your pool? Instead of receiving 3 shares per min at diff 84000, you receive 20 at diff 35000. How is this productive?
I tryed your pool for a week, but after seeing so many problems, I switched to hashvault.pro. Ask them for help, because you have much to learn in seting up and managing a mining pool.

Static difficulty is what i use. Try it(Average hs / 40 s), Suggestion for pool is to add 7 days average effort per day/24 hrs.

1. You won't earn anything sending invalid shares. Don't waste your electricity.

3. False. FairPool utilizes sophisticated vardiff algo, it works quite amazing.

All the pools around are using the same opensourced cryptonote-universal-pool or NodeJs-pool. And that's fine, i like opensource and actively participating in multiple opensource projects.
But due to my personality i feel it so boring: to setup a pool after 5mins of reading the HOW-TO article, and then spend your days posting FUD about other projects. Note: honest guys, am not talking about you, but there are only a few people around who don't do such a shitty marketing.
I'm a dev and i like to have a lot of fun implementing the things my own way.

FairPool is completely written from scratch.
And as a result it works quite different.

Consider it like my personal vision how the pool should handle all the things from the stratum code to the realtime web stats and so on.
It is a fresh, alternative, mining experience. Participate and check how it works.

In short, if being a public cheerleader is comfortable for you, that's cool, but don't spread false accusations or FUD about other projects.

Yes, you can use static diff, but if the pool is configured correctly, you don't need to. And many pools don't support static diff.

Static diff can be easily calculated:

HR x TT = staic diff

HR = your rig's hashrate (for ex. I have an average of 2839 H/s in CN-heavy; I use 2800 for calculation).
TT = target share time in seconds (I understand that this is the time that an accepted share occures). Depending on coin (blocktime, network hashrate, etc) it varries. For CN, 30sec TT is recommanded.

So as my example goes, with a rig that has 2800 H/s and a TT of 30s, you have 2800*30=84000 static diff. If you want more accepted shares, but at lower diff, lower the time. Anyway, setting a lower time than recommanded, meaning setting a lower static diff, will not increase your earnings; 2 shares at diff 25000 equals 1 share at diff 50000 as coin reward. Sending more shares with lower diff will just chocke the pool server. This technique is used by evil miners when they attack a pool/coin. (remember the recent Bitmain's ASIC attack against monero and sumo pools before the fork).

The var diff is what bothers me... I have a rig with constant 2830 H/s; it mines for days and the hashrate is the same. My internet is superstable (optic fiber). On sumo.hashvault the var diff algo sets the vardiff around 84000 after a few hours, so that's a good diff for 30s target share time. And remains constant day after day.
Now, at fairpool I mined in day 1 after sumo fork, for several days, my paiments where true, the profit was what is suppouse to be, so no problems here. But the var diff algo started at 5000 if I remember correctly and after 24h, it was increased to only 35000 or so. The number of accepted shares was huge. Explain to me why is this better? Why is better to choke your server with huge ammounts of low diff shares?

And yes, accepting shares on the old PoW is not normal. For ex, hashvault rejects those shares. I don't mine with the old pow, I just tested to see if it worked.

Now that sounds a way better.

Honestly vardiff algo being tested thousands of times before. And is one of the things i'm proud of.
But i'm always open for any feedback, improvements suggestions and feature requests. If there is a flaw, we will find it, so it will be even better.

Being a bit busy right now, am setting up additional Haven and SUMO stratums.
I will contact you through PM a bit later and together we will perform live testing to check the vardiff and find the consensus. Of course if you will be interested in doing some testing while i will monitor the system and the network traffic.

For small pools 1-2weeks not accurate. Almost all pools must have approx 100% in long time.
