The different between people is the ability of catching opportunities.

Some bought bitcoin in 2010, some in 2011 , ... , and some would not buy untilll the bitcoin price get up to 100K dollars.

That's what whales do, they wait for the right moment to buy.
Well, if I had money, I would do the same. Eventually, investing such big sum of money will boost the price and make it boom again.
the good thing is that ,now, there are more people that believe in Bitcoin and keep buying when others are panicking.
