the problem with entering the new version of wallet SH2 .. After successful generation, I left.

Try to delete old Shang blockchain data and then run daemon (shangcoind) again to synchronize with new network. After the sync, open your wallet again and you should see your balance available.

I can't check my balance until I can import the newly created address I have into something and the binaries can't do that.

You can do all you need with those binaries... The only difference is that you have to use command line. First start the daemon (shangcoind) to sync with new network and after that you can use simplewallet to either generate new address or restore your existing wallet.

Actually, the two chains use different network, p2p, and name folder, they can be running on one machine together.
But please stop mining old 1.0 chain. As we approaching the deadline, and pools shutting mining port, the new mined coin may not able to be swapped.
And please stop solo-mining, as we passed the 5000 height.
