This guy is the CEO of Bitcoin... (I am not making this up) LinkedIn twitterHe just got nailed by USA cops!! Money LaunderingInterview on the arrest... Interview (Tone Vays is such a wanker. What is with the stupid heavy forward comb-over? Hilarious!) The price is going to tank bigly when this gets out. The US is arresting EVERYBODY!!!! I am pretty sure this is the real end of Bitcoin. You can't have your CEO in jail and expect things to get done.

A truly shocking news. What will happen next with bitcoin. The evidence seems practical and ruthless. Be calm with this? the darkness is coming!

This is bad news. I just noticed the price of bitcoin is dropping really fast. Check it yourself. Its going down the 10000 mark. Would it be the end? We will see what future beholds with the CEO of btc gone.

This thread worries me but I'm not entirely sure why, it's one of the following:
- OP is a troll but others won't realise this because they're completely stupid and will think this is 'real' and that Bitcoin the cryptocurrency has a CEO -OP is also completely stupid
I'm leaning towards the first one.

Terrible accident, Maybe too many stupid thoughts come to me now. Nothing is "fake news". But it takes a while to clear things up.

I'm not a Bitcoin expert but as far as I know they aren't any chief executive officers
maybe OP is wrong about CEO Status?
We have a Creator and Jesus Judas, why not a CEO or a Bitcoin Pope?

The guy is arrested, that's bad and true. He probably has some respect in the community as well as quite some coins. Firstly, I believe the court has not decided what will be done about it yet. Maybe they'll release him and this precedent will make bitcoins legal. Another thing I want to point out is this: who is this guy? Why are you saying he's the CEO of bitcoin? He's not in bitcoin dev team, but is instead a CEO of the company called Bitcoin inc. Moreover, this guy was arrested before for transactions. Here's some information which may clarify the situation: "There is a lot of interesting information to be found in this particular story. It all began when the CEO of Bitcoin Inc – not to be confused with the CEO of Bitcoin the currency, as such a position doesn’t exist – got arrested over a Bitcoin transaction dating back to November 2016" [article: https://themerkle.com/homeland-security-arrests-bitcoin-company-ceo-for-alleged-money-laundering/]. I'm afraid the op and you guys just overreacted on the situation, everything is not so bad and btc's CEO doesn't even exist! P.S. Sorry if it was trolling and I didn't get it.

I'm confused to that Bitcoin have CEO? or this is an another platform with the same name? If this is true, let's just wait for the court ruling like what the accused have said on the twitter and find out if he really did a bad move.

Is it fake or pre fabricated, it is hard to know what is real or not these days. In the early days of Bitcoin there were no laws at all, only now we are being regulated. This is really good for all and makes for safe transactions.

How is this not entrapment? "The action of tricking someone into committing a crime in order to secure their prosecution." https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/bitcoiner-faces-charges-after-selling-btc-undercover-cop/ -- I quote, " That officer allegedly told Rockcoons in advance that the cash came from the manufacture and distribution of “hash oil,” which contains tetrahydrocannabinol, a controlled substance at the federal level." Wow!!!! ....This is so loaded, it is not even strange. RawDog stop scaring the newbies with Click Bait FUD. lol ---<< http://prntscr.com/iicul7 >>--- lol

What about the CFO and the Board of Directors? Did they get arrested too? The next guys to be arrested will be the CEOs of Dollar, Ethereum and Gold.

Yes then COO, CTO of bitcoin... It’s quite funny that still some people believe bitcoin has a CFO. What about the CFO and the Board of Directors? Did they get arrested too? The next guys to be arrested will be the CEOs of Dollar, Ethereum and Gold.

Hi, Sorry to say so but... I guess that man was not working on his own, anyway. You can't build something that big and remain alone. So I'm not saying this is a good news but I wouldn' say that this is the end either. Let's wait and see.

Well, we are not in that position to discuss things if it was made for real or not, so if the Op is clearly saying that it is for real then he should provide evidence about it so that we also know the real status about it.
Many people will really say that the founder and CEO of bitcoin really scammed us but for us he did a great job.

Or... you are completely stupid. What don't you get? Are you saying this guy is not the CEO of Bitcoin? Because if that is your assertion, you are dead wrong. He is. That is a fact. maybe OP is wrong about CEO Status?
Not wrong. This guy is the CEO of Bitcoin. It is in the public register. It is a clear fact. This isn't open for a debate or negotiation. Just go to the Secretary of State in Nevada website and look for yourself.

Oh this guy, I saw an interview the other day with Tone Vays on his channel. It's interesting, check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tu7nl_-vBnsThere are many things that don't add up, on both the guy's side and the government's side, namely, why does he claim that he can't go and get his bitcoins to pay a lawyer? I mean it may be true that he just can't, im not going to judge him on that, but some claim he is just trying to get a lawyer for free. But now on the actual government paperwork, there are many things that sound dodgy like "at a time unknown" or "elsewhere" (read the pdf) Honestly, this is why im too paranoid to sell bitcoin at all. Who knows if the exchange isn't a scam, and if you go OTC, who knows if you are selling into a government trap/scam.

Damn Raw Dog, you trolling hard bruh. Anyways, I don't see this as that bad news that it would cause the current dip as somebody else said. How would this cause the dip? The transaction was done in 2016 lol.
