"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

When the BTC price is 10x or 100x bigger than now, we can talk about it.

Its really a nice idea but you really want to expect "mankind" on this (scam) forum? Its too dangerous and not a good method!
Share it with a very open public possibility.

To expect good deeds in this forum is like expecting that racist people like foreigners LOL!
The 0,1% percentage of good people have been always overlooked in this ocean of scamming.

I don't see people giving away gold for free. Gold is valuable and you don't give it away to random strangers, especially if they're likely to not value it and lose it.

I don't really think phone was giving just like that. There has to be something behind it, some commercial comes to my mind. Also technical goods have diminishing value, their value will drop and true value isn't real since in many cases you don't pay for what you get but for a company name/brand. Bitcoins are virtual good/currency + there is no known company behind it that will benefit from giving it away and posting that on YT. So comparing those things isn't an option.

seconded
People would rather waste their time hitting the faucets to earn a few satoshis.
Even if you did some weekend errand you could buy 0.x BTC afterwards.

I dislike hipsters and apple. Therefore I would never do something like this. However, I've been thinking about starting a scholarship for computer science students named after me once sick ass rich Cheesy

A thousand really isn't all that far fetched.  It's at 127 and hasn't even come close to becoming main stream.  One day, every coffee shop and gas station etc may accept bitcoin as a matter of course - throughout the world.  If that were to happen, 1K could be but a distant memory.

Sincerely I am, Johnny BitcoinSeed .com
