What is the point of forking a coin which is almost perfect?
No point other than to scam people.

The Litecoin team have nothing to do with litecoin cash,
I wont be getting involved.

I hold some Litecoin and I’ll probably claim this fork and hold it.  It seems like a decent effort but it is already contentious because Charlie Lee is pissed they are using his coin’s name.  Not that it really matters, I guess, there are like 50 coins ripping off the “bitcoin” name so maybe Lee should just take it a sign of respect.

The actual identity of the so-called developers seems unknown, and unverifiable from the details given.
From the block-chain, there seem to be a crazy amount of pre-mining spread in the initial blocks.

Do note that whatever price a coin is trading at has no bearings if that coin might be a scam or is actually a shitcoin underneath the price-speculation.

it is just another useless fork coin without anything remotely interesting created by some random person who is looking to make a lot of money by abusing the name of a popular project. it usually is taken from bitcoin but since there are already a lot of them and they are starting to fail to gain any kind of pump, they have moved on to other altcoins to get the higher hype and pump.

It's a litecoin fork, but it serves no purpouse at ALL even if it isn't a flat out scam. Litecoin is already faster than BCH, it doesn't need a litecoin cash.

The only point is to gain hype in the name of litecoin. Remember litecoin will try to test lightning network as next scalability solution for bitcoin. Did you remember about all of these bitcoin forks coin? All of them were having no purpose than become a pump and dump coin. It's not worth to participate in every fork coin airdrop. NXT gives a good lesson for that how so many people stuck at the top of NXT price.

But digital currencies and cryptocurrencies are not the same thing, things like paypal are very easy to regulate, but crypto is not, that is what they are still trying to figure out, how do they regulate something like this, they cannot threaten a CEO to put him in jail if he does not comply, I think they may try to threaten the devs to manipulate the code but even if they did that no one will ever accept that version of bitcoin as the real bitcoin.

Litecoin Cash would be from batches of the cash coins. A non-professional investor can see that the coin is going to get people scammed.

I am not against a hardfork unless it's on my investment lol.

Litecoin cash actually is good investment, but I think the value is not fast like bitcoin. But if you do investment for a long time like 10 years.
I think is ok investment in Litecoin cash. Litecoin cash only 840 million max supply in the world. The amount still big more than bitcoin just only 21 million.
But a few week ago Litecoin cash down around from $5.6 million, is quite low. But no need to panic, be sure it will rise again. Keep invest in Litecoin cash.

I'll stay away from any software that allows you to claim LTC cash. I would listen to the main dev of LTC rather than those folks who came out suddenly.

This is very true,because most of these people or website or wallets that are claiming you would receive litecoin cash if you put your LTC will surely steal all your coins,no forked happened from the LTC's core team that means any of these claims are frauds.Stay away from these applications and walllets and you wont have any problems.

I don't know if there are people who claimed their litecoin cash but as long as the main developers will not announce something that can be pushed me of claiming it, I won't claim. I will listen to the people who are trusted rather than with a fork that looks scammy and is possible to steal our private keys. Just don't be too greedy when it comes to fork coins.

Sounds like people trying to make a quick profit off the LiteCoin name.  I'm glad the LiteCoin CEO made a public announcement about this, warning investors.  It's up to people to listen to it or not.

It is very sad that things like Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin Cash, Ripple Cash and similar happen. That people don't even take the time to invent a name for their coin is a sure sign that the only thing they care about is to take advantage of a well-recognized name.

For me it is just like riding a bike in the air tunnel behind the bus.
