You basically can’t tell if it’s legit before hand. It’s normally much quicker to just go for it and if it’s legit it should payout. Nevertheless it’s the subscription process you need to pay attention to. If it requires you to give them info which you are not comfortable with, give it a pass. It private keys are demanded then no go. If you are required to create an account on a given website then consider if it’s worth while.
Lately airdrops are of all sorts: some offer a reasonable amount of tokens, while some are down to just one or two tokens/coins. Others look more like a traditional bounty campaign than an airdrop, requesting multiple tasks to be performed. This week I have seen one that offers 0,002 eth; not worth even the minimal effort.

We cannot really know if the airdrop is legit or scam but you can avoid to join an scam airdrop by checking there website, roadmap and people behind the project if you notice that the project are something fishy so you can avoid joining them.

How to know if the airdrop you joined is LEGit or not?
It is hard to determine if the airdrop you joined is Legit. There are lots of scammer circulating in the internet asking for donations to be able to send you and airdrop the afterwards if they had already got those donations they would just suddenly disappear. We have to check first and foremost the website they have provided and check on the whitepaper as well as the background of the people who controls that particular coin. With that i think it would help a bit to know the identity of the airdrop but of course it would not guaranteed us that it is really legit. We do still need to be careful in joining airdrops.

First, of all see if they really have a good project. If the project they are proposing is really that great see next the team of developers who will be carrying out the said project. If the developers and the project is good then it's ok. There's nothing wrong in doing airdrops just stay away from identity verification like government ID.

How to know if the airdrop you joined is LEGit or not?
Whitepaper should be the first thing to give an insight of how legitimate a project is and the percentage of tokens meant for the airdrop can hint on the legitimacy of a project.

Unfortunately it's generally hard to tell just by viewing the airdrop itself. The airdrop is most likely legit if the ICO itself isn't a scam. Due to that, you'd probably need to conduct basic due diligence. If they aren't a scam and you don't receive your tokens, they should have a support staff whom can assist further.

How to know if the airdrop you joined is LEGit or not?
Airdrop is a simple opportunity to gain small or high profit so sometimes there are many scam or fake airdrops spreading all over the community. How to avoid fake airdrop? You can access the contract address of that coin in etherscan.io then check if the supply is legit and can airdrop hundreds of people. Then you should check the roadmap of the project for you tell and determine the reason why theyre implementing such airdrops.

How to know if the airdrop you joined is LEGit or not?
I'm not sure if this will make you easy to decide which legit airdrop but the majority of airdrop look crap in this time. There will be no more airdrop will become a legit project in the future just like decred. As you can see the majority of airdrop right now doesn't provide the business plan that makes sense. They are having only interest to raised a lot of money. But look at the whitepaper and business plan. No good plan in many of airdrop make them very high scam and just want to collect money like you said. So join airdrop is only when we are free because if you use your tite time to work on airdrop, you will be regret by missing other good job.

it's hard to tell if it is legit since nowadays, it's easy to copy and edit photos for their project. One obvious way to tell if an airdrop is legit is when they ask for you to pay something to them. Airdrop is free.

I do not bother with airdrop, if I have free time I always follow without thinking about this good or not. Airdrop is free, nothing is hard just do it as much as you can.

Before interacting with any new cryptocurrency. it is always essential that you do your research and believe in the vision behind the technology. Keep an eye out for scams and remember that a legitimate project has no reason to ask your private information. Airdrops can be an exciting way to learn more about project, and may even be your next big investment. just make sure to be smart about your involvements, and always go the extra mile to keep your data safe.

For me? You should have to check it twice for you to know that the airdrop that you wanted is a legit. Also? By checking it to the best security app so that for you to be not a victim.

I don't think about airdrops so much. I just do it as much as I can. Only if need KYC or number of phone I will think about legitimacy. In another way I don't care is it scam or not.

How to know if the airdrop you joined is LEGit or not?
I think that there is no definite indicator on what determines whether Airdrop is legal. I think that the procedure is the same as when choosing a bounty campaign. If you check the upcoming project and be sure of its success, then participation in airdrop will bring you profit.

Airdrops from unknown companies or anonymous developers often useless. Moreover, you can become a victim of phishing by providing your personal data. Examine the website and the proposed product, roadmap and whitepaper to increase the chances of legit airdrop.
