I'm trying to use RPC miner CPU, and it's driving me insane. All I see when I launch it is this.

It just keeps repeating that over and over. Not even giving me a chance to enter my username or password. I've searched all over the place and there is no guide on how to set it up.

Also, please use laymans terms with me. I'm new to this and i'm not a computer programmer. I already downloaded all the blocks, btw

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Can you explain or link to a guide? I can only find one for GPU miners, not CPU ones.

I can't found the tread for the miner I tried a month ago, but I can recommend you the ones at the Consolidated List of Miners.

EDIT: I did found it.

You do realize, I assume, that CPU mining is not remotely profitable? Even if it was easy to set up, it isn't worth the trouble. Maybe you have some other motive for doing this, but if the motive is profit, you are wasting your time.

I agree with Dargo, CPU mining is terrible it could take months / years to make a decent amount of a coins and unless your electricity is free it will cost you money to be mining with the CPU. If you want to get into bitcoin mining get a 5XXX or 6XXXX ATI Card and start with that and see if you enjoy mining.
