Great list, i would add some new project to the list - credits offers the own blockchain with fastest transactions - 1,000,000 per second. And one important point - credits is the first fully autonomous system, so it will work without any intervention. The launch of the network we will see in  june and i hope it will be good start!

WANCHAIN (coming to exchanges): will be a good competitor among NEO & ETH. Will also launch ICOs on its platform.

ICON/ICX: top, huge blockchain project from Korea, with a very big team and smartest people in Korea working on it, with a mission to hypperconnect the world.

OMISEGO: THE top project on the Ethereum blockchain. Vitalik said when he's done with Ethereum, he will be with the OmiseGo team full time, he really believes in their mission to bank the unbanked. Recently got a partnership with the government of Thailand.

EOS could be on this list, I just hate the fact that they're grabbing $1 billion for their never ending ICO.

You choose a good and potential altcoins in crypto currency community. These are the following altcoins in 2018, that I just want to have.

Nice list, I would probably go with privacy coins this year.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

I think this year will be generally good for all kriptornka. In my portfolio, I expect particularly high growth from BTC and ETH, as well as ADA, WINGS, TRON,OAX

This is my list(with reasons):-

Vechain - Bringing the supply chain management on the blockchain. Supply Chain Management is something that'll not end as long as the companies in the world offer goods and services to the customers. Expect this coin to grow in the future.

Monero - This coin overcame some of the limitations or rather enhances the privacy and scalability that most altcoins and even bitcoin does not offer. There's the reason darkweb is craving for this coin.

Neo/ethereum - Both are same in a lot of ways. Neo, also known as ethereum of China, is a project that offers Smart contracts, decentralized apps(DAPPS).

Litecoin - Less hash block generation time(2.5 minutes) so faster transactions. Fees is nominal. Less  supply, so has the ability to shoot up in the future.

Neo and Omise look like good projects, but I am not so sure about others. Nano exploded already and I agree that what they say looks great, but how can we be sure it really works this way and and coin is secure? If there's no difficulty in creating a transaction then maybe it is also very easy to hack? I am even less sure about wanchain. The team is nice and educated, but I am not sure the project can really compete with current giants.
As for icon - I am not against South Koreans, but their government is terrible and made the market suffer for a couple of time already. The coins might be great but end up being banned or something, so I would say it is a risky investment because of this.

Agree with these positions, but also want to add that TEZOS (which is not distributed yet) will also be a great competitor for ETH/NEO. Interesting who will win - EOS or TEZOS

Yes a good list above, I may consider waves, neo and icx are my top choice alts. I agree these coins would probably go higher its value this year 2018. Such a very patience trader if you are holding neo for 2years now so for that observing the market is necessary.

Good list from the OP, lots of good coins that are sure to rise. I would put the majority into NEO which is the safest bet and on track to match or overthrow ethereum. Lots of ICOs and you can earn GAS just from holding it. 2 coins for the price of one makes it a more attractive investment than the other coins, but all are good really.

I think Stellar is good altcoin . In 2018 there are many ICO
