The amount you will earn depends on the kind of bounty campaign you do. If you are able to do signature campaigns, you will realise a huge even with reddit  and article . Unlike when you use social  media like facebook, with that you only earn little because you have many people using the same platform.. ..   

Yes, each bounty has a different allocation for each type of campaign. Signature campaigns usually have a fairly high allocation, but to get maximum results must have a high forum rank, or by conducting other campaigns such as content creation.

payments have gone down a lot, ICOs aren't raising as much money, are taking longer and there's a lot more participants. I expect you'd be lucky to earn $500 per month now.

I do not know from where you took such figures. It became almost impossible to earn from bounties. New projects which appear either collect nothing, or swindlers and too pay nothing. Can be a year ago still it was possible to earn something, but not now.

With the sharp drop in ETH, the ERC20 tokens that bounty get are also depreciated. Most of the altcoins I've seen can't profit from long-term holdings, only dump them, although I don't want to do this.

1.000$ per months is just a dream for me in current market since ETH is 185$ and 1000$ currently is over 5 ETH, rarely I see such incomes per months from bounties.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

I actually hope that with the translation bounty program there will be a lot of prizes but I have not been so smooth and understand how to translate it so I study first so I can produce many prizes from the ico program

I think only those in higher forum ranks earning good profit because they received higher rewards allocations while low rank receive only a little profit sometimes they can't due a very low value.

I dont use Bountyhive, because I like making my own research and making weekly reports for me is not difficult, even for 10 campaigns same time. You can earn really valuable tokens If you have skills and rank

I think lately payment in the bounty company have fallen significantly compared to the same period last year, I think this is due to increased interest among people, as well as a large number of scam projects. If earlier it was possible to earn 3-5 ethers, now even 1 -2 ETH, is not bad!

1 k is rather oprimistic estimation. Majority of my friends haven't raised this amount.
As for translation bounties, there is a competency and at the beginning you have to make portfolio

This is really not a good time to calculate bounty profits.i think its better to just collecting tokens.Donot even think about selling bounty tokens.almost every recent icos are at the below ico price .

Our bounty future is very bad now, cause a lot of bounties outstanding and not been paid yet for months and other tokens just sitting there in their wallet that hasn't even reached an exchange yet. So, we need to extra careful with the bounties that we are entering at making sure that you have done research about it.

This is so sad because people who are new in bounty can't get big amount of earnings like what happen last year, many ico now scammed and maybe that is one of the reason why some investors have no interest to invest in ico.

 I believe there are lots of bounty to engage on and so am still yet to earn more tokens from bounties, i think there are more to get on other campaigns apart from facebook and twitter.

They usually pay their ICO percentage, so the more successful the project you choose, the more you earn. The rewards can vary greatly, perhaps somewhere between $ 100- $ 10k per say 4 months running a Bounty campaign.

I have never received a gift from a signature campaign, I have participated in the signature campaign but it hasn't been paid until now, it's been 4 months. I saw my friend, who participated in the signature campaign was the same, there were 5-6 months unpaid. So it's good to participate in gifts and make money every month, I really want it.

I think six weeks is a good waiting time for bounties, all above that is a lost cause and a sign that you will never get your reward. Nothing should last six months in a market that is so volatile and everything changes every second.

Wow, making $1k/ month is still huge but I doubt if you still make such amount of money in this current market condition because many ICOs extend there bounties. For instance there is one ongoing ICO called gigtrick ICO, the project is ongoing for 8 months now and they are yet to conclude ICO. Therefore its difficult to earn such amount during this period.
