I think everyone should read whitepapers before investing in ICOs or joining bounty campaigns. They include important informations about the project, roadmap, the team also. While you are searching for new ICOs to invest these factors have important role. So it is better to read them to understand project main idea.

White paper is very important because there you will know all about the project  ,but I'm sure not all participants join in bounty campaign read the white papers.
That's the reason why some of us continued to be victimized by a scam ,because they are lazy to know read. We must read all about the project where we want to join to avoid scam.

Absolutely, you have a point. And i consider as one of a person who is not reading whitepaper but unfortunately i was thankful that i am not a victim of scam bounty campaign. Through sharing ideas in this section i already how is important being reading whitepaper because i have a plan to invest in a coming days.

The purpose of the white paper, is not just to elucidate with clarity what the project is about– it should ideally inspire trust and create legitimacy in the minds of the people who are going to buy the tokens.

But if you read only whitepaper  you can not be completely sure of the reliability of this project, just take into accounts of the team, capitalization, etc.

the white paper provide context on what is, defining the problem, and briefly explaining the background establishing credibility since the beginning.  So you can use information in it before you make a decision investment.

This is the complete and most reliable source for you to understand:
Why this project exists
What is the current issue
How does it plan to solve them
Everything described in detail along with a clear roadmap, team members expertise, and additional details regarding the crowdsale progress.
If you want to be sure you have all the information you need to consider investing in the project, you should start with the whitepaper.

Whitepaper should be read by individuals who wanted to be digital currency investors. The documentation may be long and sometimes difficult to understand but they are worth reading. Reading it over and over may help us fully understand it.

Some people don't read whitepapers. They consider it boring and hard. I think it's a big mistake. Because white paper is the first thing you need to read if you want to invest or earn successfully. I always read whitepapers.

yes, i think one should read the whitepaper before deciding to invest in a project. By reading whitepaper, we can know the concept of project, roadmap, business plan, development team, to potential of projects in the future.

Definitely, I commonly can get the completed information of an ICO by reading the whitepaper. Whitepaper helps me so much to know more about the project. Even sometimes it is too tired reading lots pages of a whitepaper, I still can search for the information that I need. When going to invest (moreover,) understanding the project is a must. And whitepaper is one of a must-material that I should read. It presents the clear explanation of the project, team, token sale, roadmap, and may others.

If you invest your money in an ICO company, of course it's worth spending time studying the WhitePaper, if you're a bounty hunter, I don't  see the point. I think there are enough ratings on ICO websites

it is short of knowledge if you dont read whitepaper, it make you know ab a new coin, Not every cryptocurrency with a “clean” Whitepaper is a decent business. There are multiple factors to verify how trustworthy a cryptocurrency is. However, Whitepaper is the first important thing that we should know when it comes to a cryptocurrency or an ICO.

of course WP is just too important to be read before anyone should throw in the towel of participation in any ICO no matter how promising it may be or the hype that may surrounds it. I just can't understand why some people have to start complaining before or after the end of an ico. As for me, if the WP is being read and understood, then nobody should have any problem adjusting to even some slight changes that may comes in as the ICO proceeds.

I read a lot of white papers and eventually stopped doing it. Sometimes I read white paper in order to clarify some special issue. But in general it is too large a document in order to spend time on it. And I do not think that with its help you can understand the adequacy of the project, since many projects order white paper from third parties.

Whatever you want to be involved in, you have the knowledge, the crypto or the bitcoin, too, you read about it, understand it, and you make the right decision.

If you are a real investors, and you are real intersted in the product, you will read the whole white paper. After that you will go to the telegram chat or any other social media plattform which the project its represent, and ask you some question about the project what you dont understand in the white papers or whats not clearly written in. But how many people are doings this? Nearly 95% of all investors in a ico do not read the white paper, because they not interested in the project. They just interested in making fast good profit.

reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.

Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!

Some documents are indeed a source of useful information. But lately I notice that developers are lazy to draw up a white paper well, and scammers create children's texts.
