The first thing I do when I get acquainted with a new project is study WhitePaper. Only there you can find all the necessary information about the project, including the Idea, Team, Prototype, Token Sale and much more. Wink Wink

The White Papers are rarely white papers. They all just pretend to have a serious study and even a philosophy like the one that Satoshi created for Bitcoin, but they rarely do.

reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.

Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!
For me, reading white paper is something that is mandatory to get to know a new project. By reading the whitepaper we will know the purpose and benefits of the project. We will know how the project works from the white paper. It is one of the steps to determine whether or not a project is good, so if it is considered good, investment becomes possible to do.

Reading whitepaper is very important when you want to get to know the crypto projects. I have seen many whitepaper until now but they all seem to me copy paste work from the past paper. They do not interest in the readings at all.  Wink Wink

Whitepaper is just too important to be read before anyone should throw in the towel of participation in any ICO no matter how promising it may be or the hype that may surrounds it. Smiley

Well whitepaper is a good source when doing your on research about the platform itself before you do some investment but be careful because some new project or ICO's are copying whitepapers from others so I suggest that after reading the whitepaper create some question to ask the developer of if he/she can answer it directly or he/she didn't know about it because they don't own the content of the whitepaper.

I call a whitepaper a magic paper. Reading it can open your eyes to many things in the crypto industry. It can give you a deep insight into the project and will help you to decide whether it makes sense to invest or not.

When reading ICO white papers pay attention to the idea and if you really like it and the team is strong enough gives you a green light for investment but remember, invest what you are ready to lose and preferably not more than 30% of your total savings.

Whitepaper is a document that tells how the technology of the block-project will work. This file usually contains a detailed description of the architecture, as well as how the users interact with the system. Smiley

If you're really interested in the project, and you want to be sure your money is going to be in good hands, then reading the whitepaper should be a must for you. To be honest i'm lazy sometimes in reading whitepapers, I just depend on the hype which is wrong

Not always white paper, is immediately understandable for beginners. For example in white papers is a lot of water is unnecessary.

I do read white papers but that's for only projects I am interested in, if i am not really interested in the project there is no need wasting my time reading the whole white paper. what i mostly do with white papers, I normally browse it through go to the information i want directly. If i want to know about their token metrics for example, I will directly go straight to the token metrics section and get the information i want.

There are 500 white papers in the same time. Perhaps the first step is to look for a brief review of them on the available site.

I say honest to you all, actually in following the bounty project I very rarely pay attention to the white paper of the project.
to find out information about the vision, mission, team, advisory, and sales information of my token usually only visit the bounty website concerned
