Reading of white paper is good, but some are just too boring and too voluminous to read. I don't think most bounty hunters have that time to read white paper, except those writing articles for the project.

Reading white papers in both bitcoins and ethereum is a helpful thing to do so that you will actually thank white papers after you read it is because it can add your knowledge.

Most whitepapers explain crypto currency and the Blockchain technology and try to link its significance to their project underway.
For instance the whitepaper of Cyclean taught me a lot about the relevance of ICOs and tokensales.

Sometimes white papers are just a copy and paste of other white paper projects. This is a little bit ridiculous.
I read a lot of White Paper and I found a lot of them really interesting but many of them really silly with no sense or even no sens for a token or a blockchain for that particular project.

Whitepaper is a great source of information for a project that you want to invest. You should read that to understand more of their project and also decide for yourself if that project has a future and not a scam. There are ICOs that only copy the whitepaper of other projects, i have seen many of that here.

White Paper is definitely a good source of information for an ICO. I usually download the file to follow all the information until the end of the bounty campaign for us who support the ICOs we must have all the information necessary to do our work and thus look more professional.

i hope not many people read whitepaper or may be they read but they not make buying decision only with whitepaper reading as some projects got failed even after good detailed information in whitepaper . As per my understanding whitepaper can be copied from any where. so i give less preference to the whitepaper to make my decision.

I see the reason why it appear. Then i see the vision, their roadmap, the hard cap, what they will do with money,... From there, i go their social network to find proofs. If i trust, i'll invest.

It is good to read the whitepaper before making a reckless move to invest in its ico campaign. All the details related to the ico are included in the whitepaper. It is like, whitepaper is the main brain of the operation of the ico and its token. If some ico are offering good feature without its whitepaper, it is best to avoid it.

yes, I agree, reading whitepapers makes us know all about the coins. whatever we need or we look for coin information is there, it's very helpful to read white paper, but sometimes there are companies that do not issue a whitepaper.
